Blog Niches For 2020: Travel and Tourism

Matter of fact travelling and Tourism are great niches since forever, and few niches are so steady for semi-autopilot earnings.

2 years ago I set up a blog covering one of the most beautiful landscapes in Brazil. By car, 609 KM of Beaches, Islands, Old French and German architeture and etc. Rush drummer Neil Peart, well known by his bike journeys dedicated a whole chapter of one of its books to the subject by 2012.

So I did the same. Spent two days driving-stopping... Taking pictures and small movies. Uploaded to YT. Lots of information and barely 200 photos.

Blog is ranking #1 for 23 KW and #2 for 9. Updated just here and there but it's great and steady for monetization. Id love to do this again covering other routes.

Anyway! It was being used by TripAdvisor and they use to pay me for the blog traffic. After checking the earnings I ended up the partnership and took the wheels.

Amazing earnings for short investment that has been made. Domain. Hosting. Gas and food. Lets say... 500 bucks.

If you are looking for a steady niche. Go for It! From Adsense to affiliates like booking.com you will make money.

Im making 50-70 bucks a day Just from Adsense. I really think you guys should give It a go.

Yes, traveling and tourism is a good niche - especially Digital Nomad since you can sell them an info-product (i.e how to make $100 per day while being a digital nomad) - people will buy this up since they want the dream of traveling while making money.

The fact you gave us your niche is very generous as well, I wish you nothing but the best.
 
I can see how traveling is a good niche as so many are interested in seeing the world. Did they only use your photos? Are you paid so much per view?

Travel? Good niche. Believe me! You cover everything. From road conditions to places for visiting, staying, local stories along the road. Of course YT videos and Instagram boosted the blog. Ive found 114 photos of mine related to the course when people search for info.

How I wish to have some spare time to explore more routes. Neil Peart wrote about the route and somehow I owe him some. Rush were touring Brazil and he wrote tons because he used to move by bike from city to city while the rest of the crew used tour buses.

This specific route really seems like paradise. Impossible ignore so many beautiful places.
 
competition is too much. Requires great advertising.

Yep. My dream? Rent a car to cross US from New Hampshire to San Diego covering rock music gigs. Alt bands! Has-been bands playing for peanuts. Amazing how popular bands from the 80s and 90s now barely make 1500/2000 a night.

I love these weird circumstances.

Appreciate very much your input;) But adult SEO and porn still make 80% of my earnings. Hard to explore a new niche so competitive. I had luck with this blog. Not sure If I can repeat the success.
 
Two cents plus? Im awful on dropshipping. I gave up! Not my thing while lots of you make big big money.

Sold some photos. It was great and has been great for rankings. I cover absolutely every question about the route. New biz along the route use to call me to blog about them.

I am confused - is this a travel blog or you travel as a sex tourist, making adult videos on the way, and doing some dropshipping in between? :)
I assume you talk about different projects here. Based on the reply in your other thread you're no afraid to explore new places, but afraid to overmonetize (make extra money)- if I were I'd definitely try switch places between those two.

:eek::p no! Im just telling you guys that the Travel blog it's a blessing in disguise. Matter of fact Ive stolen the idea from Neil Peart. He travels the world by bike and he rode the same route and got so excited... Im a huge Rush fan and just did the same route.

As a IM it was a chance to make money. There are a lot of accidents because people try to drive and see the landscape at the same time. Of course... Full throtle on Instagram and Facebook.

Kind of. Adult SEO and porn I know How to profit. It's my niche since forever. Im also running political blogs and music blogs making good money.

But dropshipping? Im awful. Lost a lot of money trying to make money from dropshipping. Disaster!
