What is the difference between blog networks such as BMR, ArticleRank etc, vs. the private blog network here on BHW?

It seems to me that private networks on BHW are even more expensive than BMR, ArticleRank.

    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

With BMR, you have to write or outsource the "posts" or content. That takes time and money.

With the private networks, they will write and spin the posts. You do not have to do anything.

Also, the quality of networks can vary. PR is just one metric, and not even the best one, by a long shot. Smart private networks owners will have very good sites. Other blog networks rely on user submitted sites, which are usually shit. BMR I've never looked into.

Probably could have posted this in your other blog network post.

    Major differences between networks:

    1.) Range of PR
    2.) Content accepted (unique/spun)
    3.) Quality of network
    4.) Longevity

BMR has been around for quite a while and they've been pretty consistent throughout. Yes, it's more expensive to post since you have to source unique posts but it's worth it IMO.

Many networks on BHW or any other forum for that matter are fly by night operations that are often knocked out with one de-indexing run from Google. Of course, there are exceptions where some private networks are maintained and handled more professionally.

In any case you want to use as many as possible to decrease your link dependency on any 1 in particular.

BMR and linkvana still work better than private blog networks here imo. However, i think the best practice is to combine them all or outsource your work to all-in-one SEO services here at BHW (but still combine with several other blog networks)

Best way is to waste money on all of them , but really waste most on BMR if you are loaded .

I don't think that Google gives a s**t on these networks. 99% of the content is spunned. maybe it would work better if each and every blog would post only about a specific subject.

Things ain't working is today they post about home and garden, tomorrow about cars and so on.

    Been there, done that.

By reading what you guys mentioned above, it seems that I am better off with BMR, ArticleRanks etc?
Since they are better managed and cost less?

    Also, lets take BMR for example;
$59/month up to 5 domains. DO we get to submit UNLIMITED amount of articles within this 30-days period?
I only have 3 websites at the moment.

    Thanks again

Lol, I like how there are always people who drop in here with "I think...". Here's a bit of advice... Don't give advice if you're guessing.

And if I were you, I would stop chasing niche/theme link sources.

With BMR you are limited to 10 articles per day per site, so about 300 articles per site per month.

They don't call him SuperNoob for nuthin :D

What is wasteful about paying for backlinks?

You are better off creating links on as many different sites and platforms as possible, and slowly over time (not all at once) and not limiting yourself to one network. In a post-panda world, it's all about link diversity. I would first look at your budget before you pay anything. Plan out your purchases and you'll last longer.

Unless you're a writing machine, or you plan on outsourcing the work don't even bother considering BMR it'll be a time sink or a waste of money. Some of the networks here are worth paying attention to.

There is nearly no difference, really. Using local networks here on BHW, you will get the report most of the time - that means, you can build links to your posts to boost it. (In most of the blog networks it does not work so)

On the other hand, most from the networks offered here are too crappy and the owners of these networks do not think long term... Just order one blast to the network and you will understand what I mean by that...

In fact, it is really hard to decide which type to choose. At least for me it is tough...

Diversity is key, try have a nice mix! I use private networks, BMR, Aln etc. I mix them all up, BMR are very good quality though and each article is submitted to social bookmarks for extra sauce. I personally write my own BMR, I aim for 5 a day which takes me 30-40 minutes. Over a month this is 150 blog posts which easily covers the cost.

Private networks done everything for you and with BMR you have do it by yourself that's the basic difference.

Private Networks are just that... Private. There might be 50 users on a BHW Private Network, but 1000's on BMR.

Thanks for all the inputs guys.

Well, it seems to me BMR is a solid service but requires more work, and BHW requires no work, but might be poorly managed (depending on seller - of course).

yes you are right, BMR is the better option than BHW, Because BMR blogs sites always maintain their quality and prohibit user to put the bad content.
