After creating and ranking many micro niche sites, I think its about time that I concentrated on building something a little more 'long term' (If that even exists anymore in the seo world) so I have started to build an authority site. Up to now, I have created about 30 posts targeting 1 keyword each and indexed them all. These are all easy to rank keywords with almost all hitting the first 3 pages with only onpage SEO.

    Now the question

I have created a small blog network of around 20 sites with PR ranging from 0-5. What would be the best way to use this for my new site? Only reason I ask is that I dont want to make the mistake of spamming the blogs with links to all of my articles (that would just be silly). Should I just link to my main domain url? domain and an article on each post?

    Please help guys

I'd take the most related five-ten blogs and link your main page of the authority domain.
Why? Correlation to other costumers. I wouldn't relate my blog network in a strong manner to an own authority site that is long term. Imagine all get slapped, isn't this a big signal for mister search engine?

Buy or write 20 original articles, and link back to your money site. One money site link per article. I like to mix in random links to other authority sites with the posts.

Like the previous post, do make it a habit of linking to all of your sites with your entire network. That is a huge footprint. 20 sites all linking to the same sites... Keep it random, as that looks natural to the SE's.

    Option 1:
If the blogs are within the same niche I would recommend doing contextual links in posts and just drop a link every other couple of posts. Try to deep link to your site with the most relevant web page given the topic of the post / post content.

    Option 2:
You can also create site wide links or a "Friends" page where you link to some sites (including your own). Avoid footer links and do not mark as; sponsored, paid, or similar terminology.

    Option 3:
Make your money site look like an authority site by listing it as a source in the footer of articles.

    Blog Post Title

    CONTENT
    CONTENT
    CONTENT

    Sources:
    1. www.example.com/authority-site-in-my-niche
    2. www.wikipedia.com/myniche-related-page
    3. www.my-money-site.com

    Option 4
If your blog network is not on one niche, gor for contextual posts, be sure to place the post in a relevant category, and tag it appropriately (if you are going to tag it at all)

I would only link once from each domain in your blog network. Its relatively small, so I would just go make 1 relevant article on each of them and link to the homepage, to make some more linkjuice pass trough the site.

thanks guys. I will point the links to my main url and let the juice flow. If I need an extra boost then a few extra links to the inner pages should do the trick :)
