Blog for noobs ??

i hate the term noob but some things i still don't know how to work well.

i have a blog on blogger.com example XXXX.blogspot.com

and i purchased a domain also. www.example.c0m

now i have some questions

when i sign up for adsense which web addy should i use?

i put domain fowarding on my domain so it sends you to my blogger XXXX.blogspot.com

did i setup up my blog the right way? using fowarding?


also should i sign up to alexa right now?
also is there any other sites i need to submit too?
also what other things work and pay well with adsense?

First of all....be assured that it will be a lot of time before you start making money from blogging...you'll have to work hard with minimal returns for atleast an year before the big bucks roll in and that is if you do everything right...

about the domain forwarding, it would be best if you can get hosting(money permitting) and set up a wordpress blog on your domain instead of forwarding it to a blogspot...

if you must forward it to blogspot then I believe there is an option within blogger itself that enables attaching a domain to your blog...why dont you just make a simple search and find out there?

You shouldn't do domain forwarding. Instead, just point your domain name to the Domain Name Server of Blogger. You can refer to the Help section of Blogger for more detail.

Sign up with your blogger blog address. Not sure if it really matters or not,but that is where you will be placing the ads. As mentioned earlier it is probably best to get hosting and set up a wordpress blog. You have much more flexibility with wordpress.
