    Hello,

I would like to know if I will only get any juice for a particular keyword if I use that keyword as my name when doing manual commenting.

    Thanks a lot.

Surely it adds some value but not enough. If you're commenting on a high PR do-follow page with very less OBL (Outbound links) then I think its equal to a web2.0 property ;)

But its very hard to come across a high PR do-follow blog who lets you use your anchor text :)

    Cheers.

Does anyone know if the PR of the .edu or .gov site is significant or are .edu and .gov links high powered by themselves?

    Both. They powered by themself.
Most of them have high PR because they are very old.
But too buy Edu Links is .... if one spammer have the Site it get closed after some month.

    That spread like a virus

Using your name like said above will increase pr, but also boost the weight of your sites outbound links and internal links. So if you have longer tail keywords on inner pages, the link from your homepage will help them go up the serps.

So using your name/keyword both have benefits. I tend to use the heavlly spammed sites for my keywords and moderated with my name, depending on what previous comments are like. If the previous comments have got keywords in the name i will to, but with a legit, related comment!
