    Hey guys,

I'm doing blog commenting for my multi-niche site which has multiple posts. When commenting, do I put the root domain (myblog.com) into the "Website" field or the URL to the actual post (myblog.com/url-to-post)?

you can use both.. As a good seo practice you should use inner pages as well.

I know that I can use both. But for a multi-niche site, which one would be better?

The page you are looking from should be relevant to the page you are linking to.

The one you wanted to rank for. If you want to rank your inner pages then link it if you target your keyword only on your home page then use home page URL.

It's best to use both root domain url and the exact page url to cover up your footprints. Placing all your blog comments backlinks straight to your root domain is a flag for Google to detect.
