I always see 2 types of approaches on BHW to blogs and making money with adsense.

The one says give your reader lots of good quality, fresh content and that will translate into $$$.

The other says, only give them a small bit just to peak their interest and get them searching for more information in the links.

I am confused, which one works best, or do they both work?

    Opinions wanted.
    thx.

I would say both work. But you need to stick to one and hone your skills and then take on the other one and go about it. One thing I can surely share is, you need to work for it first and then it works for you...

    Both methods work.

It is highly argued that less content translates into more clicks. The reasoning is that since they didn't quite find what they were looking for on your site they will exit using one of your adsense links.

The sites that do offer higher quality content probably get less clicks. They came to your content rich site and found what they were looking for. They leave using back space or exiting with the x at the top. This site however you might get repeat users and if the big G visits they will deem it a quality site and not give you the ban.

I am not saying that you less content rich site will get banned I am just saying it has a higher chance to be deemed a MFA site.

I can give you my personal results.

A very streamlined site without all the glitz has a CTR of about 7%+

A site with bells and whistles has a CTR of 1-2%
