i have a real non spam domain with 70+ real hand written articles over 5 years that is not showing in google very well. i have all the plugins in wp installed. checked on site seo with screaming frog, etc. moz spam score is 5. backlinks 500+ each one real by hand not one spam link.

i then found out that the ip its hosted on is black listed!!! would this be the cause of the moz spam score 5???

Hm I don't use Moz so I can't help with that but I do know that a black listed ip could be very bad for your rankings.

If you're on shared hosting i would not be bothered by that at all if i were you, lots of people use shared hosting to spam and MOZ is just to stupid to differentiate between domain and IP... ignore MOZ for everything, their useless on any level.

I would suggest to look ate your content and backlink profile why it isn't coming up, no tool can do that job, it is something you have to do

    look for exactly what?

backlink profile is not spam, but real built up over 5 years one by one. whitehat. content is real hand written for real site. doesnt have many links in each article, 2 or 4...

You can go ahead and ignore Moz spam score. It's all over the place for different sites
