Has anyone ever seriously considered making something for Blip.TV videos?

Honestly, I busted my ass for months on YouTube and made jack, but since I started using Blip.TV this month, I'm making a pretty good income. And I'm not even trying hard.

YouTube is full of spam, trollers, and junk. YouTube gives sh*t back for revenue where Blip.TV splits it 50/50.

I have a feeling Blip.TV distributed videos will end up making more $$$ then any video tossed on YouTube.

It would be nice to see something made by BHW to take advantage of it.

YouTube (Google) will always dominate the market, however there are many other sites that offer PPV out there, YouTube will always be the best for any video marketing campaign.

True, but honestly YouTube sucks balls when it comes to revenue sharing. And it sucked even further when Google got involved. The only thing Youtube/Google dominates now is a pile of horseshit.

They claim over 24 hours of video is uploaded every minute, but a lot of that uploading is duplicates (and copyright infringing).

I'm was just wondering if anyone on BHW sees the potential of this (blip.tv) like I do.

If we would stick to revenue sharing from youtube then we would go to WF :p .
YouTube has 90% of the video traffic on the web :) so I think(and I'm sure) there is the place where we should make cash :D . I tried blip.tv a while ago but the results are verrryyy low...

Mate... After you will go with your first video viral ( 0 -100.000 in 2 days) you will taste the youtube power and you won't search for any other alternatives :p

    Cheers,
    Stoica

Does Blip.Tv accept tutorials? Like say, posting cover songs without permission, do they still allow PPV? Or does it have to be unique?

Blip.TV is mainly used for original content that gets a fair amount of views already - which is mainly gaming related (Day9 tv is one of the major ones for example) due to it apparently making more money than YouTube for these sorts of videos.

For everything else, just go YouTube. It is popular and will gain you a lot of views.
