I was thinking on hiring a guy on Fiverr to do a lot of xrumer blasts (low quality links) to all my incoming links.

Does someone who has done that knows, by experience, if it works?

Yes it works well. Be sure not to just use xrumer though as they don't count for much. Mix it up with articles, bookmarks, trackbacks and blog comments.

Profile links have lost much of their value after panda. Content links are in now. As pokerjk said, mix profile links with web 2.0 ,social bookmarks and scrapebox blasts.

Mixing links, that's a good idea. But it's pretty hard to be building all kind of links to my links. Any advice? Dripfeedlinks, dripable or other, more automated, alternatives.

Blasting is slightly better than doing nothing whatsoever.
