Hey guys, if my site is over optimized, and has too much exact match anchor text, can I blast it with a scrapebox aa list to tone down the over optimization?

I just wanted to know if anyone has tried that here. Or will I have to do it the old fashioned way and slowly build links to even out my over optimization.

Maybe diversify your seo. Add some generic keywords, but so move towards social signals, bookmarks, and maybe purchase one or two blog links/posts.

Scrapebox backlinks didn't help me diversify.. didn't do a single thing for me.. wiki links helped though, im sure a lot of other links do too, but in my experience scrapebox links probably did more harm than good

I must admit I don't really diversify anchors a lot, but I have a steady stream of HQ links coming to my sites, and it works.

wikis give more diversify to your keywords, so use it sometimes

The key thing with anchor dilution is not to push the link velocity too hard, unless you expect some major bounce for a while. Many sites needs a LOT of extra links to decrease their keyword density, and all those extra links at once can cause a huge swing in link velocity; which Google will often react negatively to.
