almost every thread or service that I've read about uses some sort of blasts to tier one links. They use any of: scrapebox, senuke, amr, xrumer, all for the purpose of boosting the value of the tier one web 2.0s. Well if these blasts help the web 2.0's they have to help the money site right? If not, why?

Not necessarily, because these web 2.0s are from established, authority domains unlike your new money site.

From what I know, you do not want to flood your money site with low quality back links. So these tier one web 2.0s are the backlinks that your site will rely on to go up in PR and etc, so blasting them will increase their own ranking which will then ultimately boost the quality of backlinks towards your money site without risking any direct penalization towards your money site since the web 2.0s act as a buffer as well.

I'm new to this too but this is what I've understood so far.

that's exactly my point...if these blasts help the web 2.0's then it seems to make sense that they will help the money site as well...Darth had a good point about the fact that these are trusted, aged, authority domains, but my money site is also that, then what? blast away?

seems like these blasts have to either help or hurt a site, and cant do both at the same time. so if they help the web 2.0s, they're also helping my money site. but if they hurt my money site they likely they're not really helping the web 2.0's like everyone thinks they are. unless people are doing it only for indexing purposes...

Yeah but I think creating backlinks that are of higher quality with the web 2.0s which are blasted make for a better long term plan.

If your domain is aged, authorative, with many thousands or millions of indexed pages like the web 2.0s then it is safe. But people also do not care if the web 2.0s somehow got penalised from the blast anyway, as they are disposable, unlike their money site which they do not want to put at risk.

    In the sandbox. Again.
Link juice doesn't equal good rankings though. A page might be getting tons of link juice from blasted links but it doesn't mean it is also ranking highly. Your recently blasted 2.0s may be pretty low in the search rankings.
