Ok. I know the rule of thumb on this forum is to do some searching on a subject of interest before posting. And I did. No luck. Here's what I'm trying to do.
I have a zip submit that only allows email as the allowable traffic source. So, I'd like to promote the offer with some cheap, targeted adwords PPC. Here's what I think I should do/ wanna do.
1. Cloak/ Iframe the affiliate page (for two obvious reasons).
a. I can't use the real affiliate landing page url since they don't allow search traffic - I don't want my affiliate network to come across my ad by doing a google search on the keywords I'm bidding on.
b. To comply with google's policy of having your destination url and landing page be identical
2. Then have my cloaked/ iframed page point to my affiliate link as a blank referrer. I'm probably not wording this right.
I've read so much about how double meta refreshes don't work in all browsers and that you're better off using sort of an iframe/ javascript redirect script.
Any suggestions?
