Blackhatworld Growing

Who are you directing this at?

The intent of my post was to exclude the spies and researchers from the very domains that we exploit to generate revenue.

as well as scammers.
At killzone initially, but after I read your quote from his post, I'll reply to you here.

You're saying charging 10$ a month is to keep the "owners of the domains we use to exploit" out of BHW.
So, don't you think that the owner of CraigsList would be able to pay 10$ a month to "spy and research" you?

You said 10$ month to keep scammers away.
How much money do you think the creator of Torple (gmail auto delayer) made?

And as a final point, did you learn how to make 10$ a month by yourself before arriving here? Would you be able to pay it if not?

HaRRo I'd like to see a Trouble Shooting think tank for serious marketers in a non public thread to out think techno changes that try to cramp our wallets. Techno change like gaymail illiminating millions of accounts, buying TVtube and CL's constant changes. Whaddya say Bud?

oooook, here it goes... I am a newbie... I am a newbie on this forum I am a newbie in internet marketing, so I hope I dont get a lot of shit for this post but, I do want to voice 'a little' of my opinion... from a n00b's nubi's noob's newbies (or how ever many more F'ing ways people spell it) perspective...

Harro - were you once a NEWBIE?
Havok - you too?

anyone on this blasted forum... did you come out of your mothers womb with a computer and goolge analytics on the screen? NO

so I may not have posted some incompitent bull shit posts on here, but I will be the first one to say that YOU have asked some idiotic shit at some point in your life... and did anyone BAN you from life? no... they taught you OR you just learned...

What I am trying to say is I dont know shit about shit... lol... I dont know how to make website... a landing page... I dont know how to set up an auto-responder... I dont know coding, making scripts, how to automate ANYTHING... the one thing I know how to do is post on CL manually, reply manually, buy a domain at godaddy and use the re-direct function...

I try to find answers before I ask questions and that might be something that a lot of people dont know how to do, but in one year I am going to graduate college and be an elementary teacher <--- (they don't know SHIT about computers lol) and one thing I hope to instill into all of my students is the pride to be able to ASK a question, because someone in that class (much like BHW) might have the same question, and someone in that class might even have the answer.

So a Newbie might have a stupid F'ing question, but if you dont have it in your heart to answer it, or point them through a PM or something in the right direction, then move the fuck on and DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.

I have met ..... (electronically met I guess).... a few good guys here that have helped me out a lot these past few months and I have made, upwards of $1,000 so far... but I sure as hell dont consider myself allmighty... I still consider myself a big ass NEWBIE!

So I think to myself... WHAT CAN I CONTRIBUTE to this community????? As I stated before - I dont know shit! haha so what can I contribute? questions? maybe some answers for some other newbies that have the same question I had at one point? Whatever you need to know about child psychology lol???

My main point is just that I think some people here need to stop being such pricks to newbies because at some point you were one too...

______________________________________________________

so... to make the forum better suggestion? I would GLADLY pay $5 or $10 bucks/month for a membership... and for those who say newbies dont have money to do that with, come on... yes they do... buy one less big mac each week... buy one less video game each year... you can afford it...

I hope this opened a couple eyes :)

Stop allowing member with 10 posts to become a JrVIP. The rules say

"you must be a member of the forum for at least 60 days, have at least 100 quality posts, and make a $97 donation to the forum."

I see members on here who dont have anywhere close to them requirements, yet they are a JrVIP. Either everyone applies to the rules or get rid of them. Stop playing favoritism.

what about making the first pages new thread list longer, like 2x the size it is now, this forum moves pretty good and since i only visit a few areas of the site i miss some interesting posts.........

just have the lounge open to the public.....?

the rest must be logged in to view

I love this forum and thousands are addicted and we wouldn't want to see it EVER go down

I will do whatever in my power to keep this forum healthy and alive and I appreciate others' efforts as well

closing registration is not a good sign for any growing forum (* like this one ) ... about the fees ... let's say it's good to keep away some of the leeches and spammers but that's not a solution . At the end of the day this forum it's growing because of the information's useful for the audience witch is targeting . So ... growing that means more peoples coming and reading / commenting ... The forum need more and much strict rules of allowing new threads showing up go to the index and watch yourself .... hundreds of threads about xrumer for example I can rekon it's a great tool and so on ... but to be honest do we really need like 10 threads about '' witch is best '' or '' VS '' type threads ?

I didn't mind never to help or to answer to peoples who asked legit and nicely questions , and when I saw an question witch I had maybe an helpful answer I`ve just hit the reply button ... but it's getting disturbing to see repetitive same questions again and again .

So . Since the forum already have success (* reasons are known ) , you guys need just to keep it and if is possible to increase the quality of the forum . That's first thing what will be like '' a must '' , look yourself what new peoples posting ... for example this post , and like this one are far away others ... do we really need it ? the community / forum really need it ?

Thing is .... growing forum means more and more peoples coming here , why they come we know .... how do you guys (* from administration team ) keep it like it's it or even increase it ... it's up to you ;)

And one more thing ... the censorship thing ... even with risk to get this post censored like other post got before ... try and understand folks one thing .... my intention wasn't to spoil mkrogen name or hes company name ;) ... I just wanted to give him the shlt on face , the truth even if is hard to understand for him ... I don't give a damn about the named reply's was deleted .... I just hope he had time to read it before you guys deleted . So ... censorship it's good thing but on right situations (* like for example threads and posts about illega stuff , or stuffs witch aren't allowed by the rules of the forum .... and I didn't see anywhere on the forum yet any reference about telling truth it's not allowed . )

One more thing for this post ... the infractions ..... if any of you(* mods / and so on ... ) will look at my profile I`ve got an infraction from madianz wile on her short time was on charge ...
Profile Infraction 08-28-2009
04:27 AM Never 3 Insulted Other Member(s) madinaz
Thing is ... where the fk are the biatches who I insulted ? if anyone need to be insulted :) here it's the insult dear ;)

Rules MUST be for everyone and every time , not only for one and for others no ...

I would like to see a FAQ in each section as a sticky - will avoid tons of repeating posts.
Maybe in a structured format across all sections.

I really don't think we should close off BHW in my honest opinion, we could miss out on some more geniuses, unfortunately we will always get kids and spammers, but it is upto us members as a team to make sure that if we catch them we report them and this should slow them down a bit.
The only other suggestion I have is maybe have a noob thread were they can only post in there for x amount of posts, which then we can answer, but also we can determine if they are kids or spammers or not, and it should stop them bringing old posts back up just to increase there post counts and then maybe decide if they should be let out in to the real world of BHW or not.

Just an idea

Make ewhore section invisible until 100 posts or been a member for 60 days. OR pay to see some sections of the site.

I would agree with the members who said closed registration with invites only.
And lower the number of invites.
It will reduce the spammers.

More 'stickies' after finally finding my way around this forum I have found the 'stickies' one of the most helpful sections. They give a great overview to whatever area you may be in. Then after going through the stickys you can go on to read the more cutting edge threads and understand whats going on. All of us Newb or otherwise canot know everything and can all learn more so extending the sticky and making them part of tutorials could work really well.
I for one am very grateful to BHW and have learnt tons but do wonder whether a paid area may well be a good idea. Al of us spend money on our businesses and I like many here would be happy to pay for top notch info its just we will not pay for re-hashed guru garbage. This info on this site is worth its weight in gold why not make some cash and just pay whoever to run such a section and do it well.I do think as IM gets flooded with people thinking the streets are paved with gold online BHW could well be overrun with takers who never give back and all the good people will leave.

okay - I just thought of a VERY small change and I don't think if would be very difficult to do... place a "home" button at the bottom of each thread page... this probably shows a huge part of my laziness, but, when I get to the bottom of a thread and I am finished reading all the posts, a simple little button to go back to "home" where all the new posts are shown would be cool... I know there is the top button in the bottom right, but, that takes you to the top of the thread and then you have to go and click home,

eh... just a tiny idea..

Only one thing to say : Restrict newbie to open new threads and give more priveleges to power members!!! :)

I've got a couple of suggestions for BHW, the first would to be to create a new forum for newbies, which would contain all the basic information needed to understand how everything works. Affiliate programs, CPA networks, blogging, seo and what not. This section would also have a sub-forum with 'Questions', which would put all the newbies into one section, preventing them from spamming the other sections with questions and it would also be easy for them to find all the information they need to get started and understand everything, I also think it would be a good idea to prevent users with under 50 posts viewing the following sections:

  • Blackhat SEO.
  • Whitehat SEO.
  • Downloads.
  • Making Money.
It really isn't hard to get 50 posts, they can still post in some of the most used sections of the website, ie the lounge, along with the newbie-section, which is really where their first 50 posts should be made, asking questions, replying to topics, answering questions (Hopefully anyway)

My last suggestion, add a hide-hack plugin to the forum, which means topic-owners can hide their content from users who do not have a certain amount of posts, for example if you posted a great method, you could make people have to have at least 500 posts to view it. This would mean the newbies, wouldn't be able to read these methods and ruin them, this would mean the leechers, wouldn't be able to read these methods and ruin them, obviously this would increase SPAM by quite a bit, but simply by toughing up on SPAMMERS and giving them less warning/chances will easily ban all the users who are just here to leech :)

1. Get mods to move all the old/pointless threads to an archives or junk section..

2. Make guests signup before they can read our secrets!!

3. Instead of a sign-up form, make it an application form? like cpa networks.. so you can only join if you prove you really want to learn or you can bring something to the site..don't see this happening though.

4. A mentoring service, like your post ages and ages ago. really liked that idea, but you must not have time for it.

I am a relative newbie to BHW, and am learning lots being here.

Someone made a mention of having 100 post before you can see anything etc.. We'll, I have been here since about April 2009, and I only have about 22 posts. I have posted more, but only about 22 have counted. When I post, I try to make it something useful for everyone. But, since I am a relative newbie to BH, I don't have much I can contribute, yet. I know the Ban hammer has been, pretty free lately, I don't want to loose my account here at BHW, so I don't make BS posts. thus, it is taking a lot longer to get my post count up there, to be able to access other areas of the forum.

I would be willing to pay $10 a month for the access.

One suggestion, I would like to make, is this:
The ability for the Thread creator to delete a thread. I once started a thread, and inadvertently put in bad info and link. It then became a useless thread and wanted to delete it. But, could not do it. I ended up making a post in the thread to delete the post. It hung around for a long while before it went away. I suppose I could have PM'd a Mod or something, but didn't want to bother them for some trivial crap.

Banned:
When someone is banned, especially in the Buy and Sell forum, please leave a reason. There have been several Offers that have been banned for some unknown reason. services, that I may have wanted to use. The reason for the ban, plays a role for others to make decisions on purchasing or what not. I know when a ban happens, there is a reason, but I have seen some apparent bans just because one person had a bad experience.

I agree, that there are some really stupid posts made on the forums in general. That takes away from the value of BHW. There is a post I saw this morning about a scary movie coming out soon.

Maybe add a Flag option in thread for readers to flag Spam or other crap, that automatically sends a message to Admins for there 2 cents on the post.

The low quality "tutorials" should be judged and deleted by moderators, we loose time reading digital point stuff, from members just registered from 1-2 days and already starting to post DP shit, then a coward of n00bs replaying with "thanks, you are so great, thank you soooo much" and such just for post counting...
We need some QUALITY censorship and somebody have to kick the "thank you very much for your post"-ers in the arse.
One year ago this place was invaluable and now, digitalpoint-ers are invading BlackHatWorld!
Lets try at least for 3 months with a paying system - $10/mo its a piece of cake !
The average dp-er will pay for just one month and will read stuff and at least he won't start useless tutorials or to post thanks for post number increasing. And lets have the useless things cleaned here!

Other thing, I'd like when JuniorVips log into the forum to see the list with the "New Posts" from JuniorVips, not from all the forum, then if he click New Posts, to see the rest of the new posts. JV must have 2 "New Posts" buttons - one for the JV and one for the rest.
In that way JV section would be much active.
