Some of the larger banks offer a cash back on their credit card programs. But for the majority of people it is a gimmick to make them spend more and the bank actually profits, since they will not pay before the grace period ends. Even if you spend normally and pay on the grace period you will actually only save 2% of your costs. The blackhat way to take advantage of these programs is to buy something that you can put back into the bank to pay before the grace period ends. My solution is to have a friend create a company, where you "buy" cash from him. You take the cash put it in the bank and repay the credit card company before the grace period ends. If you dont want to do that because the method is somewhat shady, you can buy coins at face value from the U.S. mint when they are having free shipping.
