I have been browsing the forums for a while and I have found a couple of ways that i can still do Blackhat style SEO using free tools but what are some of your favourite free (or cheap) tools that aren't breaking the bank for a beginner? I see alot of mention of Scrapebox and SeNukeX which all cost a mint (for me as a beginner anyway).

These tools are blackhat tools because they automate things and they do it well. The only free way really is doing it manually but this would be white hat. ocasionally some tools are cracked but the best ones are always updated so ur cracked version soon becomes worthless.

If i was you i would build some MNS sites and use the SenukeX trial to build up the backlinks then when u start to make a profit by some software. magic submitters ment to be good!!

I have a MNS site that I am manually building links to. If I start making a profit I will probably invest in Scrapebox.

Scrapebox is a must have tool for SEO but to be honest I don't use as a tool to build backlinks only check them. e.g. checking index, anchor, page rank.

If you can't afford scrapebox even when you can it won't help as you'll have to buy proxies which cost money and AA lists which cost money. Best bet is to try new techniques building links manually if you can't afford things like that.

Scrapebox is definitely a must, even though it is a bit costly (for a beginner) but soon the beginner will realize its benefits after making a purchase.

I am thinking about setting up numerous MNS. Maybe I could use scrapebox to get High PR comments?

You can use it to find those pages where you can leave a comment but you will have to comment manually if you want high quality link.

If you want to start from nothing, then download SEO spyglass & use it to analyze links & post on them. (MANUAL ) but once you get established with an affiliate site ( takes 1-2 months ) you'll have enough to buy tools. Use your money wisely (Remember to pay me a share :))

If you don't want to spend money on tools, you could do some simple automation stuff if you know how to program. Either program or buy I'd say.
