Ok so this is the Blackhat SEO forum, how about we create a Step by step guide to promote a website/niche product>>

Lets say our product is a pair of Diamond Earrings, how would we go about promoting this site and monetizing it?

The first obvious step is to register a domain, lets say:

buydiamondearrings4her .com (I checked - its still available)

What would you put on the site and how would you go about promoting it using blackhat, what would you avoid and what software would you use?

Well, I guess I'll start it off...

One tool I have used to generate black hat sites is YACG. I have also developed my own PHP scripts to assist in the promotion process.

U should also look at how ur gonna use the site; i.e. to push ads, creation of a list, to 'advance' a user to ur other sites, etc.

    Purpose.

If the "product" is diamond earrings, then you are probably more in the white hat space. If, on the other hand, you are interested in the diamond earring niche -- that is, targeting those who are interested in diamond earrings -- then the first thing to do is to research the niche and verify that the market is fairly broad. You would also want to do some keyword research, research ancillary products on, say, clickbank (perhaps finding ebooks to promote on "how to buy diamond jewelry"), and look at the kinds of adsense advertisers there are in the niche.

I agree with Artful; building sites on the domain with YACG is the way to go.

You HAVE to jump in an get your hands dirty. Some YACG tips...
    1) Learn PHP to a level where you at least know what a script is doing
    2) Learn how CSS works
    3) Read the YACG forums religiously
    4) Follow the half-dozen tutorials/posts on the forums regarding how to make your YACG template
    5) Do number 4 again
    6) Throw up a YACG site and mess with it
    7) Do # 6 again and again

Somewhere around the third iteration of #7 you will have entered the path of YACG enlightenment my child. :)

Yeah, ya just have to get your hand dirty and you'll totally get it after a short time. There simply is no other way IMO.

You may even want to start some blogs on blogger in the niche with some links to the main site and or products being promoted re diamond earings.

I mean earrings which points out you may even want to build some pages with miss spelled keywords. I get some traffic that way. Plus I can't spell. lol

You're right. Recently someone challenged me to demonstrate a blackhat tool I developed. They simply didn't believe it could do what I said it could do, in the time I specified. What I told him was that I could bring a specified page to the first page of Google search results within a week.

Well, I used my BH tool first which got the specified page (a page which was one of his clients') to page two of the search results. (Previously the page ranked #55 or so.)

So the next thing I had to do was bump this page's rank up by 5-8 positions so it would appear on page one. What did I do? You really wanna know? Okay here's what I did...

I made two WordPress blogs - free blogs. On each of those I used the keywords of the "target page" and I made a nice long post all about the product and provided a link to the target page. Then I made a blogger blog - same process. I also made a Hubpages page. And, I made a bunch of blog comments (yes I use Comment Hut to find relevant places to post comments). Maybe ten or twelve comments.

Now, you wanna know all my secrets? I know you do. Let's just say I pinged all those pages and used another script I developed. Nothing too phenomenal here, the point is I got all the places where I dropped links indexed and/or recrawled within a day or two.

End of story: the target page made it to result #10 in the search results which is the last spot on the first page. I accomplished this within about a week, and I did it in large part due to free blogs and comments on other peoples' blogs.

Plepco keys on 2 important elements:

    1. Unique templates

    2. Experimenting with YACG until it is second nature.

Once you've chosen a niche, you need a ton of long-tail keywords. Someone posted a script on http://forums.getyacg.com/ that will scrape keywords from Google.

If you're building individual sites with YACG, all you need to do is clean those scraped keywords and save them in your keywords.txt file. If you're using a mass builder like PGI, you need to have many keyword files. I wrote a script for this using Overture and am in the process of modifying it to use Google.

    Next? How to monetize.

Ok so we have say 5 sperate domains with content from YACG, all the traffic to these sites is then redirected to our main site, am I right?

We have also set up blogs in order to get both our YACG sites and our original site indexed.

Im not familiar with YACG to be honest, do they produce cloaked sites or scrapped sites, do they get deindexed quickly?

I would set up another 5 domains with CE Cloaker using ear ring keywords and redirect all the traffic to our white hat site www.buydiamondearrings4her.com

So now we have our main site which is WHITE HAT and 10 blackhat sites generating traffic to it, how we going to make the cash??

i would use blogs on the 5 separate domains instead of yacg sites. the blogs will get indexed quicker. create 5 blog sites, each pointing to the main site. also, have the blog sites cloaked, so any human visitors will automatically be redirected to the main site

How about using wordpress friendly templates and installing the new version of yacg with a markov hook? That works well for me.

i havent had a problem with any of their tools personally.

As long as you modify the templates completey so they are "yours" and you use common sense and have it add blogs and posts slowly and not have 5000 new blogs and pings overnight, you shouldn't have a problem.

I really like their tools, and they really support their stuff well. they have a good message forum and answer most questions very quickly.
