OK, have just been thinking about something when I was replying to someone elses post.

On a couple of my sites I use If Browser = Firefox then display the following code else display this code.

I do this because whenever I design a site it never works cross-browser and this is the easiest option for me.

So, you can change the page based on browser.

How about, If Browser = Google Bot display page with a SHITLOAD of keywords?

Obviously keep within the limits and the % of keywords allowed etc.

Is this a good idea? Anyone thought of doing this or currently doing this? Would it work?

Obviously if you are wanting to have a keyword packed page without having to display LOTS of text it's quite hard, could this be a way around it?

Obviously you would have to add in Yahoo Bot etc but this idea in general, would it work?

This is the concept behind Fantomas, Kloakit etc.
They all work on the principle of providing one lot of info for the bots to rank well and one lot for the user to see (or redirect)
Problem is you need a massive updated list of robots to keep it working correctly as well as other factors.

Doesnt mean you cant get god results with it though........we are at BHW after all
