I found this forum when I was searching how to not be fucked by TikTok lmao.
One fun fact about me; my favorite aircraft was the Republic XF-84H "Thunderscreech." The aircraft was the defense industry's attempt at producing a supersonic turoprop plane. Yes, you read that right... a propeller plane. Even during idle the propellers were supersonic, so it was constantly creating a sonic boom. One of the test pilot's told the head engineer "You aren't big enough and there aren't enough of you to get me in that thing again." Out of the 11 flights only one wasn't a force landing.
These 1950's defense contractors did not mess around. They straight up were just horsin around with this one.
