Hi,

I know this isn't a mobile phone forum lol but I've seen some great advices on such things in the past and hope to get one in this thread too.

I now have an Android phone - HTC incredible S, it is a great phone but it became a bit laggy recent times (it's already 2 years old I think) so it's time to buy a new phone.. I have a Samsung galaxy note 10.1 and do all the stuff on it and using phone to answer on emails, text, read some documents every then and now, browse a bit on the web while I'm in school and listen to some music (I don't really like carrying another thing like an ipod to listen music).

The thing is that I have won blackberry 9900 (in some online contest) some time ago and then exchanged it with my uncle to this HTC incredible S, I had that blackberry for 2 days and I loved its great keyboard and stuff but I decided to go with android because of it's variety of apps but now I don't use apps anymore because I'm doing everything on galaxy note tab and was thinking about getting that BlackBerry 9900..

I like almost everything about that BlackBerry, design, keyboard, screen size is also okay for me but I was wondering if you know any other phone that suits me better? I mean I don't think BlackBerry is good for listening a music and that kind of stuff, I'm not a big music fan but still like to listen to some music while traveling and cycling..

So, what would you recommend?

I was into blackberry untill recently man, now I'm into android. much better devices. I still miss the blackberry keypad though.

@Paranoid Android Well that's just matter of for what you are using the phone, I still have that android tab and doing all stuff there, I need phone for heavy emailing and texting + slightly browsing + listening to music that's all of my needs..

I know that Android is best mobile platform so far (sorry for this apple fanboys :D ) but heavy emailing and texting with touchscreen phone is just very hard, I own android phones for already 2 years and still I hate to write texts and emails on it so the physical keyboard is one of the must-have thing for me

@aliskorn For what exactly you were using your phone?

if its just mailing and texting, go for a basic model of the bb, its quite good enough. but you have a limit of 10 gmail/yahoo accounts max on the blackberry, and i get to add all my 42 email addresses on my android without problems, and better battery too. but yes, nothing like the blackberry keypad, so go for it.

the new Blackberrys, Z10 and Q10 are coming, Z10 in March, Q10 later

i'm not really a big fan of these touchscreen toys, instead i'm using my redesigned motorola startac 130 by lekki :)

I actually fit in that limit, battery isn't a problem for me either, I always buy additional battary and have both charged 100% so that's not a problem either.. Thanks for your advice :)

Anyone else who has experienced both android and blackberry?

Yeah, I've seen that Z10 and Q10, I'm more interested in Q10 because it has physical keyboard but I want to change phone now and those phones won't be available for next several months..

Wait for the new Blackberrys to to be launched. Rather go for android.

Thought the Z10 was out this week http://www.theverge.com/2013/1/30/3929760/blackberry-z10-review

Ive had Blackberrys in the past and found them fiddly. Iphone user since they were launched and they are an awesome tool. I can however see the advantages of android and based on what friends and associates tell me a samsung phone on android is probably the best solution at a decent price.
