Are you up late? Is it past 12am? Tell us why you are up at this time. Whether it be because you just got off work and can't sleep, or because this is your work..Don't have a job? Or nothing better to do.

Let's make this a nice random afterhours thread.

I'm up because I'm always up at this time. 5am here.
I wake up later usually around 1-2pm. Sometimes later. Don't have a job so i'm currently employed by BHW. :)

Same here. This is the only time I can get anything accomplished. It is 4 AM here. Everyone in the house is sleeping, so I don't get interrupted. I stay up 'till 5-5:30 AM, sleep 'till about noon or 1 PM, try to do some research (while doing all the crap the wife wants me to do), and finally get down to doing the real work about 10-10:30 PM.

I gotta make this IM stuff work. If I had to get a regular job again, my circadian rhythm would be so screwed up, I'd get fired the first day for falling asleep on the job! :p

It's 11am here, I finally got myself on a normal sleeping schedule.
I used to sleep at 8am to 4pm, fun but tiring & unhealthy :) Probably I will fall into it again sooner or later because I will get dissrupted by a new project,

oh well, being self-employed is fun :D

3 am here. Drinking a glass of Jag, looking for possible projects. Hoping to get tired soon. Business as usual.

6:37 here...best time to do work...usually up at this time...

I think there should be a BHW AfterHours section opened up with a chat area within the section. It would be like the IRC channel except not dead.

Yes, being nocturnal has its benefits...

No phones ringing, no kids, wifes, or Merchants.

    Just plain old ultra-productive time!

(thinks working stoned and at home is really under-rated)

Oh, and it's going to be a great day!

    whats up, cats.

It's going on 6am here. I get off work in about.... 20 minutes? I don't know. I usually just hang around and collect overtime.

never was good with the daytime. Only time I've lived normal day hours was if I was in school, and even then I crashed at about 8pm, woke up at 2 in the morning. Been living strictly on a nocturnal schedule for the last 16 years or so.

I honestly don't know how these day time people do it, man....

If you're up after 2am, you're most likely getting a hard on from your next method, and about to jack off to it. At least that's my excuse for not 'taking action'

even tho my timezone is GMT-1 i live like its EST/PST, so i guess its always pretty late for me ;)

two reasons: i obv deal with a lot of americans and the silence of the night is amazing to do proper work and get good ideas :)

I find night time so much more peaceful than day time, its just total silence, no annoying kids screaming in the street and no annoying phone calls.

I get called a lazy bastard a lot because I wake up in the PM. People just can't get their head round the fact that I work the late shift in my own front room.

I live in the middle of the city in an apartment block. i would say night time is probably louder here during the day. People always yelling and screaming down on the street and running along the balconys.

Generally i wake up at 9 am no matter what i do. But sometimes go for a quick nap in the afternoon.
