Hey everyone I was just checking out the black hat university page and was hoping you guys would put your 2cents in. I was wondering if you thought it would be worth the $100 a month. (No offense Diamond Dave I have a DEEP respect for you) I mean I kinda feel like anything that the creator of this forum is doing has got to be good, but at the same time BHW is so amazing and it is free. Also the idea of a paid subscription by grabbing people who are already devoted free forum members seems genius and easy. I kinda feel like like the limited membership might just be a ploy aswell. Again I mean no offense by this diamond dave, just looking to get some peoples feedback on whether or not it would be worth it. And even if that was just a ploy, it would be understandable, i mean this is bhw.

I guess it is hard to know whether or not it is worth it until it opens in a few hours, and even then you would have to wait a while before things really kick into a high gear.

BUT the guys involved are quality guys from my limited experience, the tools look very interesting and some of the other members that I have seen there are guys from here who's views I respect based on other posts.

So I signed up when the offer first came about. I am hoping it will help me take things up a level or two, with a more select group and fill in some of the gaps in my knowledge. Hell I am so interested I have taken tomorrow off my day job because the thing goes live at 3am my time and I am hoping with two sick kids I will have a good excuse to stay up checking it out all night. (Might even clock up some brownie points with the wife - "No sweetie, you go to bed and get some rest, I have tomorrow off work so I will look after the kids tonight while they are sick" - she goes to bed, I sit on the couch with the laptop giving the kids some aspirin or whatever when they cry every couple of hours)

Win- Win

I feel a bit out of the loop. Isn't this the site that hacked us and had our forum redirecting to its landing page for two days? Why is there a banner ad for it?

they never hacked us, it is Diamond Dave's new site - the owner of this one. When BHW was suffering server issues he diverted people to the forums there while the issues where being sorted out

there is normally a link at the top right ismtt22, also I dont think that it is the site that hacked the forum, it seems to be run by diamond dave.

I'm relatively new here but this is my understanding. Diamond Dave owns BHW and BHU. While BHW was down during the server move, the site was redirected to BHU so that BHWers would have a place to meet and converse.

also what do you guys feel about bhu vs the other program that havok and nevarc are running, its only $50 a month

I'm sure it will be quality stuff. Again the program I am doing with some other members here is for both white hat and blackhat equally, it's us talking about what works, showing how we do it, then helping members do the same.

BHU from my understanding is more blackhat tool based and tools that are custom made for members. At $97, and from who's running it, I see no reason why BHU won't be well worth the investment.

thanks for the input nevarc, are you guys gonna to be doing it from the basics, and with step by step?

to be clear. BHU Is run by Dave and a few others, and IMO, although not having actually had access to BHU yet, I can vouch for it I know how long Dave has been setting this up.

The site that Nevarc, Cabuki, Smitty, Nick Flame, and i are setting up is different. But i can picture an intermediate user getting both and having a leg up on everyone. I can speak for our membership site personally its going to be very in depth.

Im about to sign up and get going when it launches. Im very interested and cant wait for it to launch. I really wish we knew how many people have already signed up.

I think I will also sign up for your site as well.

Im currently in Blackhat Attack and doing very well and want to diversify my earnings.

Ill look forward to seeing you guys on the other side.

I'm curious about BHU and havok's program. I'll have to work extra hours to have enough money and join both sites :D. About the university there is a warranty or kind of

"...make at least 10 times the cost of your monthly membership or pay nothing!"

It's too vague IMHO, I'd like someone to clarify that point, the warranty is valid every month or what?.

Reading the feedback from top users here at BHW, I have no doubt that it's a good investment

I haven't got any inside info about blackhat university, but considering how much Dave and Cory and his crew worked at it, i am pretty confident that it will deliver big time.
I will check it out as soon as it opens to the public.

I'm getting the message... "BlackHat University Forums does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe."

I guess it's sold out, right?
