Black hat link building vs white hat?

White hat link building all the way. Now that I applied the same to one of my websites with enough patience, it gave me a good result.

Black hat link building : posting links in unnecessary, unrelated places. Like in comments etc. Posting in forums with no relativity to the thread.

There's nothing like "white hat link building", if you're building links, they're considered black hat,
If you're referring to guest posts, niche edits, crowd type of links, probably they're safer in the long run,

Yet, strong links from well built "private" PBNs & similar type of links will cost less for the same or even better results,
Basically, if you stick to good quality links you shouldn't really worry about bh/wh stuff as no one willing to know the difference anyway

It depends on you. Both are powerful and effective. There is no way you can deny their importance. I would recommend you take a strategic approach and not seek quick or fast results in SEO. Yes, some tricks lead you to success fast there are risks involved. So, it's your choice.

1- which one works better in 2024?
2- what do you consider black hat link building?
There's no such thing as whitehat link building. All active linkbuilding practices are definitely not part of whitehat SEO.

Just build links that work in your niche. Forget all the pointless classifications, after all the goal is ROI.

Both Method works well for most of the websites. It's up to the website owner preference.

White hat backlinks are natural links that appear from other webmasters using your information as a source.

All other backlinks are pretty much black/grey hat. As buying links isn't liked by Google, but almost everybody has bought links before.

Just keep searching this forum for natural link-building, like HARO.

I've used Adsy for guest posts, as long as the site has traffic, is relevant to your niche and doesn't look like spam, they work well.

Black hat techniques works all the time when you focus on perfect keywords while building links and mainly all the links has to be relevant as well as the content.
