last year i bought my laptop on black friday... it feels so good when you are able to save $300 just like that.

BTW, how do you make money from these offers. Most are not available to public affiliates.

The best price in the states for a laptop right now is at Office Depot for a 3GB HP laptop for $350.

Usually Best Buy has the best teaser deal and make sure to hold off till the ads are out in the papers. They have caught onto the leaks and make sure no one sees it till they want them to see it. There is a possibility that they will be selling a laptop for $200 but its always the nuttiest place on earth that day and you have to stand in line for 5 hours to get it.

Other stores, like Office Depot which was mentioned above you can usually get there at the time of opening and still get all their best deals.

Now the question is how many of the deals will be online.

The best BH way to make money on BF is probably to round up some of the "leaks" and stick them behind an incent script - like fill in your zip, get this super duper secret list of BF specials.

Time is running out to do this sort of thing for this year, although the same concept could be run year round - people are always looking for a "deal", and filling out a zip submit will not seem that bad for a lot of people to get one.

Can somebody please tell me when Black Friday is? I am getting 100's of clicks to a page on one of my blogs re black friday - not being in the US I had never heard of it before?

It is the day after Thanksgiving. It is where US retailers offer some great deals for all of us. Of course, it is a mad house though. People actually stand outside the stores for a long time to get these deals. BTW, it is November 28, 2008.

Also I use slickdeals.net to view the deals. They seem to have a very dedicated membership.

For those outside the usa, It is the biggest shopping day of the year, the day after Thanksgiving.

It is called Black Friday because it is the first day the stores are in the black, They are in the red the whole year until this day. All their profit is had from now until Christmas.
