Have any of you encountered something like "folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/folder/" in your traffic referral posts? I don't have that directory structure on my site! But I see it in my hit stats?

    What the heck is that?!?!?

They're trying to spam you're referrals. Its an old way of hacking their link into your website. I'm guessing its coming from Russia, right?

Yes I got something like that on a site of my own. I was getting 100+ hits in 1 second from China, India and few other countries. All hits were coming to a directory which didn't existed. If these hits are coming from a certain ip or country, you can block it using CloudFlare too.

if you have a linux server and therefore have a .htaccess file you can block a huge list of IP addresses from certain countries to stop them accessing your website. They can be fouind on this website parkansky

Yes, get the exact daye these occurred from your log file and find the correrspoding IP
Then get your hoster or yourself to ban them in your HTaccess.Or hire someone from the outsourcer forums to do it for a few dollars

Is this the site you mean:
    Code:
    http://www.parkansky.com/china.htm
It also has a link to a maintained list of ip addresses that should be blocked.

Anyone know of a similar solution for Windows based IIS?
