.biz domains. Would you waste your time on trying to rank it for the long term?

I was searching through keywords and domains and surprisingly I found a domain with a really competitive keyword available under the .biz extension. My question to some of you experienced marketers is would you put alot of money and effort into trying to get it ranked for the long term? I know I'm gonna send some traffic using Adwords, but this keyword has alot of potential money wise. It's a great buying keyword, I'm just wondering if .biz domains have the potential to rank like a .com. I'd appreciate some of you guy's input.

I've had no problems getting .info sites up in the SERP's. If it's an e commerce site, my opinion is .info sites tend to lose credibility with consumers.
