That is why it's the mother of all scams, no one can be held accountable. It's an easy way to blow up the idea that "HEY THIS IS WORTH LOADS AND WILL BE WORTH 1 MILLION DOLLARS EACH IN 2 YEARS!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!" tons of people contribute their money, which the persons who hyped it can then cash out and get real cash which is strongly backed by assets rather than the amount of persons who have their cash invested.

In other words, pump and dump with no possibility of tracing the perpetrators.

Yes there is a secret "Illuminati" group that has the psychic power and ability :alien: to affect the opinion of Billions of people around the globe.

They use this ability to force the people into buying bitcoins so they can cash out in real money. :smirk:

They also force millions of e-commerce business to accept bitcoins and crypto payments with their psychic powers and it all contributes to their EVIL plan of world domination !

Maybe, but crypto exchanges are selling like hot cakes this year. I think retail investors thought institutional investors were going to see value in individual coins, nope but they are still buying exchanges or stakes in them.

Well that's a lame attempt at sarcasm. I'd make an assumption here about where you're from and where this might be funny but I don't want to offend your fellow 'sirs' sir. :)

Not sure how I missed this thread. I think people are confusing the word 'Scam' with 'Useless'. Bitcoin is uselss, not a scam.

10/10 trolling going on in the thread. Would recommend this thread to a friend for entertainment.

That articles trash and you know it.

What is interesting is the hash rate seems to be levelling off and we might even see the first difficulty adjustment down. Interesting times.

Theresa May said in Davos that she was concerned that criminals were taking advantage of digital currencies, which can be used to anonymously transfer funds. “In areas like cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin, we should be looking at these very seriously,” May told Bloomberg.

The US treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, also flagged up concerns about misuse of digital currencies. “My number one focus on cryptocurrencies, whether that be digital currencies or bitcoin or other things, is that we want to make sure that they’re not used for illicit activities,” Mnuchin told CNBC. “So in the US our regulations [say] if you’re a bitcoin wallet, you’re subject to the same regulations as a bank.”

    Sounds quite bullish to me.
