Market manipulation exists since ages either with Bitcoin or any other market. Prices on most exchanges are based on Bitcoin. Whenever you buy an altcoin you are buying it with Bitcoin most of the time. That is why when Bitcoin goes down the respective price of that altcoin goes down. There are altcoin/usd exchanges but the amount traded is much lower.

The truth is, is that its a tradable commodity with a percieved market value at which people are "willing" to trade for. When lots of people want it, the demand goes up, When there is a huge offsell the price drops significantly. I'm holding mine till it hits atleast 25k per. Then... banktime.

Its a non productive asset.

So its a trend that may die or not

There is manipulation in all markets, knowing how to key into the manipulation is what we call a good trader

Recently I ordered a BigMac at Mcces and asked to pay with Bitcoin. I did. Not.

I recently went through Maccys drive through and ordered a Big Mac and 9 chicken nuggets. And they said "would you like any trading advice with your chicken nuggets sir?"

Yes its something fishy about bitcoin and other crypto currency

im saying this cause have u seen all cypto currency rates graphs its annoying because when btc falls all other coins falls and when btc up all coins gets its rates up but all coins buyers and sellers are different how come when btc up and down effect other coins rates ...

did u ever think of it there is some manipulation for sure cause all buyers and sellers or traders are different and there buys or sells different ...

i hope what me said everyone agree and understand it ...

what u think of it !
Just what the fuck am I reading... That's called correlation. It is typical between instruments with similar qualities. I will give you an example...

You understand that no one knows the actual value of Bitcoin or any other coin, right? It's all guessing, and those guesses determine the supply and demand (they determine the price, but let's stick to the topic now). Now, what happens if people begin to think that all cryptocoins are going to be banned in South Korea? The assumption doesn't have to be true, but it will certainly lower the prices of cryptocoins. All cryptocoins. Some news don't affect all coins, but pretty many do. This is not the only explanation for correlation, but it gives the idea.

Not a scam it's just risky to invest you money into. If you just trade your services or gods with btc you can't loose.

Well, I could tell you about crypto, economics and market sentiment for several fkin hours. But I tell you this. Set a monthly budget you can handle "letting go" (financially & emotionally) and buy a portion of BTC & ETH each month (set a firm date or whatever) until November 2019. Sell it by the end of 2021 and thank me later (or send me 10 % of your generous profits by then ^^).

At this very moment there is still not enough buyers, who can hold this price level, but the bottom might be very near (not that you should actually care about the very bottom as your target is to average your price over time). Anyway, we will get some fair amount of time of going sideways before people forget of the financial pain and will be ready to throw new "dumb" money in and start off new bull market.

You people are crazy, so don't PM thx :)

here we go again another bitcoin thread, from my observation bitcoin is not a scam op i bet if 1 bitcoin is $1million today no one will complain. its completely volatile i wont advice anyone to put his or her entire life savings in it but i will say if you have extra funds. invest in it and leave it, money your willing to loose 'in other words' there are people that made millions. who bought bitcoin at a very low price they didn't exactly thought that either. all other coins required bitcoin to function if you notice. in other to purchase any coins on exchange you will need to exchange using bitcoin. there for when the value of bitcoin drops other coins will drop not to mention the panic sale is not helping its value as well
