    Hey guys,

Just wanna say a huge thanks to all of the people on here where I have gathered so much knowledge since joining in June. I have been working my arse off getting my offline seo company set up and it is finally starting to pay off.

Today I charged my first client a $200 set up fee and then $700 every month with an agreement that once they get to where they would like to be on the first page of Google, they will be downgraded to a monthly maintenance fee of $350 per month so I do not lose them all together!

I feel I have come so far in the 3-4 months I have been a member here and I owe alot of it to BHW. Now its time for me to scale it up and leverage this one client to get me others, I am already in the middle of getting my SEO brochure made and have convinced multiple businesses to let me leave it there for people to see (i.e chiropractors waiting room).

Also I have to give a massive shout out to the BHW member krzysiekz as he has helped me so much throughout my process and I probably wouldn't be where I am now without the advice he has given over the months.

Anyway guys keep working at it, persistence is the key here nothing happens over night you have to work your arse off to get where you want to be, and this is only the beginning for me.

Time to scale it up massively!!!!!

    Excellent job, Hybrid! Congrats!!

Get a few more of these clients, and you will be making a nice income from doing pretty much nothing :D

Try your dentist, doctor, barber, whatever, just keep going and never miss a chance to market!

Awesome. I,m looking to do the same thing. But I derailed my selling in the name of working on a couple of sites for myself to prove what I think I know.

    Cheers man.

I also already work a 9-5 so I have set everything up in my spare time so you can imagine my current workload get home from work and work some more, but if you want something bad enough you'll do it.

Its a great feeling when you achieve what you have been putting everything into and it starts paying off!

I like the idea of leaving brochures in waiting rooms. Going to have to give that a try!

I cant say that it will work 100% but here's my train of thought:

The person in the waiting room will pick it up and read it, then most likely ask someone that works there what's its all about and because I have already done and explained SEO to that person they are basically selling the benefits for me to the potential customer.

They wouldn't have signed up with me if they didn't see the long term benefit.

Always happy to see someone succeed going offline SEO. Congrats man! Networking is where the big fish are at. Go to networking events often and you will not regret it.

I think most successful internet marketers do it like that. It is difficult to support yourself and get into internet marketing if you don't have a regular 9-5 type job to pay the bills while you are learning. But it makes it so much more worth it in the end. I would rather make half the money I do at a "regular job" but get to be my own boss and not take crap from anyone and work completely on my own terms. Internet Marketing isn't always an "easier" way to make a living, but for many, the benefits make it all worth it.

I agree 100% its by no means in anyway easier but it is that much more satisfying.

I did this for a good year and finally a few months ago was able to leave my 9-5. Even though it feels like I am doing SEO 24/7, I can't complain about the freedom of being my own boss.

ha that's what I do also. Actually 6-10 that's when I go to sleep so I can get up to do the 9-5 in the morning ;)

My goal is to do both as much as I can to pay off all my credit cards/student loans and have a debt free life. Will have to kill myself though spending like 12 hrs on the computer a day (8 at the job + 4 more at home to do IM work).

Hybrid I have a question regarding background and what you have done.

I feel like I am learning alot about SEO and can certainly "talk the talk" but what other skills do you posses and how have you done with ranking sites?

I know it is not necessarily about all that, it boils down to sales ability but I am curious regarding your training and successes in this industry.

Finally what is your SEO plan for the client, just curious my brother in law does some work with a couple of clients and I feel they are getting shafted by their current SEO guy but I dont feel comfortable approaching them because I really have no web design skills.

    Thanks in advance.
