From the graph it looks like Ask is the real winner of the satisfaction ratings. That's funny because have about twice as many ads as Google and they're not as clearly marked. I'm thinking that with Ask it is not so much that their users are more satisfied but that their unsatisfied users have left.

Not sure what kind of non competing clauses Mayer had to sign but its clearly hints at the changing landscape in regards to search. Hopefully her experience as a hands on person 'might' do wonders for Yahoo.

As for surveys.. customer satisfaction is one thing, market share is something else. Until the time Bing/ask start showing higher %ages in my organic search, its still Google all the way much as I hate it.

dont really think that this is gonna be something that would challenge google's marketshare. google needs to fuck up something in a big way that would drive users to a competitor. or if someone really innovates in search engine market

Interesting news. The new Yahoo CEO will strengthen their portal offerings, probably not search.

In other news, did you guys know that States are going to start taxing online purchases?!?!?! Hopefully online sales trends continue even though governors are trying to keep their states from going bankrupt by taxing online purchases.
