ok - I'll try and help...

Is Modem 3D like a 3G (mobile phone sim based) modem?

Hotspotshield is used for encrypting traffic over a public hotspot right?

Without knowing exactly how it works is quite difficult but have you checked the proxy settings in IE to make sure hotspotshield hasn't left an entry there?

What happens when you ping 8.8.8.8 - do you get a reply or does it time out?

    Posh.

Do you have the drivers needed for the modem it self when you uninstall hotspot?

First we need to know what browser you are using...if it's FF, try this -

    1. Click 'Tools' up at the top of the screen and then select 'Options'
    2. Click 'Advanced' in the popup that shows up.
    3. Open the 'Network' tab and in the Connections section, click the 'Settings' button.
    4. Change it to 'No Proxy' and see if that works.

Try going to Network Connections in your Control Panel and seeing if there is a special connection setup by HotSpotShield...other option is logging into your modem and seeing if there is a setting in there that might be blocking your regular connection.

    Time to contact hotspotshield directly.
