how exactly does g identify blogs? does it like them because more contents are added regularly or because the existing pages appear to be updated often. if i had site that automatically updated its existing pages every 30 mins or so, will it appear to G as a blog?

your thoughts...

any site will need a rss feed and a xml file for it to be looked at as blog like(hint hint)imo

i am reluctant to add an rss feed because the contents are not intended for the human eye. will an xml sitemap suffice? the contents are automatically updated from a database of 23,000 keywords every time the SEs visit. will this and an xml sitemap be enough to trick the SEs?
