Ok... im having some success with building niche sites for long tail brand name searches.

For example "walmart coupon" then have a site walmartcoupon.com where they are given a code and click my affiliate link.

I am faking my referers 100% so the network cant see where my traffic is from, the only way they could check would be from searching for "walmart coupon" and seeing my adwords ad displayed.

IF the company (walmart) discover this... what could they do?

I presume they could contact the affiliate network and have me banned? or warned?

And finally... is there any chance Adwords could BAN me?

    Thanks in advance! :)

Sorry for asking but why you assume that WM will ban you for that?
You are giving them customers and thats most important I think...

could be banned because in their terms they state no bidding on brand names or variations of it... and no using brands in adwords ad copy.

    i'm doing both! :/ lol

    Home Page:
i'd assume that if the advertiser only had a handful of keywords that were off-limits, they could easily check all the ads on them regularly, if they wanted to be diligent about it.

adwords won't care though, unless you get slapped for "trademark violation" which happens sometimes with big brand names

yep...if you get banned for trademrk violation then there could be a subsequent adwords ban if the compny decides to take it ahead seriously. But the first step from the company in general is to contact the webmaster and ask them to take the site down.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm going to set up more such campaigns as they're very profitable and see how long they last. I've had one going for 6 months now without any trouble, but this new one is bringing in serious money - $50+ profit a day, and the good thing with adwords is, it's pretty much automated, unlike SEO which takes more work (but obviously ultimately free traffic)

In the ad copy i have "gotten around" the trademark issue by having the brand name simply joined to another word like "WalmartDiscount" if anybody was wondering.

For using the brand name,ur ad wont run on adwords in 1st case.
try using bidvertiser or something like that and see if it converts.

find out what state the advertiser and network are located and block those states on your adwords settings and also to be super safe you can only run late evenings to early morning and weekends.

    just a thought ;)

Why was this against the TOS of the offer you were promoting? I thought cpa networks liked ppc traffic?

To the OP, I received several c&d, not to worry to much, just do as they say and you won't get in trouble.
