Promises a method to make tons of money if you just give him $100 via PayPal.

I did so, and all he sent me was 2 word docs with stuff that looks like it was stolen from BHW's VIP Section. It was clearly not written by him, because it's full of typos and isn't in the same writing style he uses when he writes regular messages.

Says he will help you via Skype but all he ever does is go online, ask if you are there, then go offline again for days.

Stay away from this guy. His Skype name is "mikemc74", the email he used was mgluey@gmail.com

Show proof or it didn't happen. As I have said a million times.. An accusation without proof is only an ACCUSATION.

Show us some chat logs, payment screenshots. Show us something.

Charge back on paypal and put proofs up on here. Let the community and admins do the rest.

When did this happen? Metalan1 is currently banned and has been for some time.

Wow... I actually completely forgot about that dude. I can tell you that the OP is telling the truth overall. Awhile back - got to be close to 6 months ago, I saw an advertisement in his thread saying that he could teach you how to make $5000 a month, with a $100 investment. That investment turned out to be a payment to him (I asked a bunch of questions beforehand and knew that going in). He even included that he would gladly refund the money should I not find it worth the investment and if it didn't work.

I sent him the $100 and he sent me the first file. I have to admit that I was unimpressed - it looked horrible and as the OP said, it was full of typos. I don't remember the particulars of it right now but I remember that I was pretty busy and even with the $100 investment, I didn't even ask for the second document. He came online every now and then and skyped me to ask if I had any questions so he can send the second doc. Honestly, it was such a low priority that I never even messaged him back. Eventually he stopped trying... lol

But - I for one believe the Op, but @jnickson, you do need to post more info - include email transcripts, Skype screenshots and/or BHW msgs... show what was said and when... and if it's been less than 30 days, you can dispute the Paypal charge.

@metalan1, honestly dude... still pushing the same poorly formatted and horribly written documents without even correcting the typos? Have some self-respect and at least fix them if the method is decent. (As I said, I don't even remember what it was at this point).

PS. Oops... didn't realize he was already banned... lmao

Lol, we're switching places today. 2 days ago, it was me defending the huge scam thread, and now you're defending this one. :D

Well, I guess they already caught him getting over on someone else, because he is banned. Anyways, good luck op and sorry for my post, but as Oldsalt said, thats just how the shit list works.

I noticed that too... funny stuff - but as soon as I read the title of this thread, I knew who it was and then when I opened it up, I just verified it. I came across him when I was fairly new here... well... in my activity. (I've been a member for over 3 years, but wasn't really active until the very beginning of this year. I didn't even have the 100 posts for Jr. VIP when I went 'donor status' towards the end of Jan... lol)

He was previously banned. He was reported privately, and then investigated, for selling forum content as money making methods.

I checked his profile about 2 - 3 weeks ago and he wasn't banned then. Any way for me to get that money back?

What other proof do you guys need? Should I upload the docs he sent me? Show the PMs he sent me? The PayPal info? The Skype logs are pretty long, but I guess I could post them.

He's permbanned already, you don't need to prove a case or anything. You are welcome, of course, to share whatever you want but it's not like you have to prove anything. He's already been dealt with.

You need to dispute the Paypal charge - the mods and admins here cannot get your money back for you - they can only ban the members here and as Bleemz said, that's already been done.

I just got at him on Skype, called him a few bad names, and he refunded my money. I....didn't expect that.

You know how when you do a PayPal dispute, it shows you the PayPal Email that the account was originally opened with? Well, it was different from the one he used in his emails to me, so I entered it into facebook, and found the page of a Melinda MeLaughlin. She's 50 years old and lives in Pittsburgh, just like metalan1 supposedly does. Maybe that's his mom? I mean if he's scamming people out of $100, he must be some young kid, for whom $100 is still a lot of money. Maybe I should message her and tell her what her son is doing? :D

Lol, same here. I have been here since 2010 and I was very active for about 3 months, then I fell off, and I have been extremely active since the beginning of this year. :)

I was also scammed by metalan1. I saw his sig about two months ago and I started talking to him on skype and he seemed like a cool dude. He sent me 2 doc files and then he never came back online. Didn't bother to create a SL so I went to paypal and opened a dispute. I provided them with chat logs and still they sided with metalan1(he didn't even make a comment on the case). This happened about 2-3 weeks ago. Quite disappointed and annoyed because it took me quite sometime to generate that money.

FUCK, I got scammed too when I was not a Jr.VIP. I can't open dispute on PayPal caz 45 days passed :(. As Th3T3chGuy said above, He seemed like a cool guy before I send him the money, but after that He never come online. The reason why I bought that course from him was his username was aged from 2007, Blue and had rep, but very disappointed now. Who should I trust now? :(
