just my thoughts, over last few weeks ive seen a few vip sellers shit listed
and banned, wtf is this, being a seller on bhw is a privilege all be it a payed
    privilege none the less.

it saddens me that the bans falling on vip sellers who are ripping people of
also in a small way reflect the community, so cut it out, if wanna sell
be the best you can, give what people pay for , no excuses because if
people loose confidence in the selling community thats bad for us
    decent sellers.

i just dont get why people goto the trouble to earn a rep, then flush it
down the toilet for a few $ - fcking idiots .
on the flip side not all sellers are bad, some are here for the long haul
and will continue to serve the forum as best we can.

peace - off to walk the dog

Just because people are Jr Vip doesn't mean jack, just means they had 97 bucks to spare.
Also on the flip side, some sellers are being shitlisted for all the wrong reasons - mainly because of bad buyers trying to scam services and money back.

I tried to get a BST or two set up here when I was a Jr Vip and the rigmarole round it all put me off, I followed the rules, sent PMs and heard nothing. Looking at all the scams on here in the last few months (and longer) I am extremely glad that the mods I PM'd didn't contact me back so I dodged the scam pit that this place has become.

i think in 4 yrs selling on bhw over 700 people
ive had 2 refunds , 1 for service abuse
1 for a person who signed upto wrong service.

not all buyers are scammers either , i just dont get
why if the mods rule in favor of the buyer it means the seller
was at fault, if thats true why did they bother to spend 97$
    to begin with.

    This.

Way too many sellers are young and without any actual real life business experience.

Not a bad thing to be a young seller but let's be real many don't have any experience and are probably extremely bad at organizing themselves. There is also no respect for client's money and time. Everything is tied up to bad business principles...

I know because I've burned thousands on providers and outsourcers who were lazy mofos.

A lot of sellers and affiliates|purchased ad holders have recently also been putting each other down, telling people who are inexperienced that they can't do their own SEO|marketing while making fun of them, then subtly suggest they buy their product/click their ad.

why they heff be mean to feel good?

Buyers, please make your purchases carefully; sellers, don't promise what cannot be delivered. As we have seen, there will be accountability here even if that may not be the case outside of BHW. You don't have to be perfect, and while people here are(and should be) understanding of the nature of SEO|IM, you shouldn't hurt the BST marketplace of all places with theft|pride|abuse|neglect. Spin your content, not each other.

My personal opinion, which doesn't mean it's right.

More and more people are going JR.VIP to sell their services to provide questionable quality, customer services and sub-service.

They pay the $97 to rip people..

Going to use facebook as an example, if you sell 1000 likes for their page, it social proofs their page.

You pay $97 it social proofs your BHW account to be able to draw, noobs, lurkers and the odd member. If they sell their services for $100 a time.. and get 10 clients..

that means they get $1000 for social proofing their service...

it's just so easy to make multiple accounts, and comment on it..

    It's like a ponzi scheme!

Their is several active members who are doing this, and they tried before to build their posts.. i mean thousands.. not because they care about you or me.. they done it because if they built thousands of posts everywhere with a signature banner.. to sell their services.. then they faked their reputation... then then they got the JR VIP update, as if they where bothered about BHW..

These people dont care about I and I..

They only care on how they can manipulate to line their own pockets.. it's desperate. Obviously they are bottom feeders.

Does not fool me, but I imagine this tactic works quite well on targeting noobs to BHW!

Their strategy is transparent, but they think they are clever!

Karma just has a funny way of working :)

I've not had many bad experiences here as a buyer.
Most sellers here are very professional.
    There is a saying though:
    "the customer is always right".
and there's a lot of mileage in that saying. (And that's in my experience as a service provider offline).

    It works like this...

I have thousands of post every where. I post every where. Create happy birthday forums, wotever, before it was to build reputation, in a reputation circle. But! a same time, your posting on threads..

Now what does BHW Get?? Plenty of traffic from where!? Google!! Now these people have thousands of posts everywhere!

Your thinking! Is this guy a scammer, or you get the feeling somethings not quite right!

So they post a personal journey thread. Making you think they are just trying to help fellow blackhatters.

They then project the image, I am doing really well by this.. so I am going to upgrade to jr.vip...

everyones thinking, what a sweet guy!

ohh noo, everything they posted was targeted specifically to "helping noobs"

but i upgrade and have thousands of posts which now have an advertisement for my services!

They are preying on a specific market.. I know a few members, not mentioning any names.

ponzi scheme is more like multi level marketing and can be like guru stuff. "I'll teach you to get rich. Give me $10 and I'll show you how." Then you pay the $10 and get "Here's the secret: get 10 people to give you $1 by telling them how they can get $10, and then they get people to give them $1 and you collect a little bit from their referrals. It's a pyramid, and you're on top!"

A lot of people are getting jr vip as of late, but that's ok, more money for the forum.

We have a Shit List to make sure there is no social proofing that makes people above the market, no matter how they present themselves or what the community thinks. There is a bit, of course, but that's just the way power is, not to be dramatic about it.

In regards to quality, you should expect what you pay for, but $100 to someone might be a lot while to someone else it's the equivalent of $10. How does one calculate quality then?: From results and from what was promised. If you pay a little but get a lot of quality, that is just as bad as paying a lot and getting little because the price does not reflect value as it should. There is a bottom level for quality that cannot be lowered, and the mods|admins that review the service and the people that buy it are the ones who arbitrate, but if someone doesn't get results they want, that isn't necessarily indicative of a bad service but skewed expectations. This is business, and like buying clothes, you'd like to get what you pay for, and sometimes you get a deal, but too much of a deal is not good(contrary to bargain hunting belief), and an unacceptable service that does not get improved by the provider if clients complain to a large degree with reason is the other half of that coin. The better part of business is balancing quality and price, a science and art.

Not sure if I made a lot of sense, because this post could go on much longer talking about the intricacies of all of this, but I hope you can get something out of it and see where I was going.

I've been dealing with many good sellers but also a few who are just after the money, like when you buy an seo service and the op says that you will receive report and all the shit but when it comes to the end you don't even know if the seller did the job as he or she promised or just took your money and delivered nothing. So if you want to sell anything on bhw make sure that you at least do the job and deliver quality..

    NOTE

They always pick noob friendly subjects and tactics... its targeting that market where they will get sales.. such as PPD, Imacros, social media.. everyone wants to know this..

they have created it, not to help you, but to line their pockets

I know what a ponzi scheme is!

There is a perfect example of it happening right here on BHW with a $300, 000 scam!

Isn't that what marketing and upselling and targeting a niche is? Isn't that business?

I smirk when I see someone helping someone out and suggesting they buy something that's in their signature without telling them to buy what's in their signature. It's the nice way of putting out affiliate links while leaving a chance for people to make a decision. No one is forcing them to do anything. If it generates sales, so be it. That's marketing.

As for ulterior motives, this is a business forum, not a help out the new people forum. The fact people help the new people who rather ask and wait for questions answered multiple times, and can be answered quickly on wikipedia of all places, is an unrequired blessing that helps the forum. Are you suggesting that people be bleeding hearts instead of business people? Is that what will make a business forum better, or will it turn into people parroting bad ideas and reduce innovation and incentive?

lol I remember that "investment" plan. Good case of people getting way in over their head and seeing gold without thinking, the classic pyramid HYIP.

It's a shame there's members like this that exist but they always will. Just have to filter them out and move on. Plenty of trustworthy sellers on here and put it this way, the services on here are the best you'll find on the internet with the most transparent sellers and a huge forum of people waiting to review them!
