Hey guys, I come hear to ask for your advice, as I am sure I could get the best from you.

Basically, selling my YT channel since quite a few days, I have received several offers, but this one beats quite by far the rest. $5k - already thinking, when something is too good to be true, it usually is.. (or how was this quote.. you know what I mean.)

Now he said he doesn't want to use escrow as he had problems in the past and so on. Paypal or bank transfer, I could not go with this as he could easily do a chargeback.

Then, there's bitcoin. Of course he would risk, in theory, if he would send me the payment first, and I would give him the channel after that. I would not scam him, yet it is his money and he wants to be safe as well.

However his option would be for me to send him the channel first, then he would pay right after that.
But it is like I can smell it, the typical story, I'd send the channel, he would say payment send, then he would go on Away status on skype... money won't arrive, I would keep ask him what's up... he would say be patient, then he would log off and forever gone.

I see that as an YT partner I can contact youtube via this form, http://i.imgur.com/SORwkmr.png
But I can only do that from the account that have a channel that is partnered. Once I give that channel away, and say, I would get scammed, I would no longer have access to that page. I tried entering to that page from another account (non yt partner) and all I had access to was community support forum etc, but the email support was not there. So you understand what I am saying?

I want to make this deal work, but I do not see how. If I send my channel away and get scammed, I really find it very difficult to get it back, considering I do not even use a network (to have a manager that could help me), and just G.adsense.

Please advice me what to do. Thank you in advance!
Are mods in here doing things like these, like acting as middleman in exchange of fee.. not even sure if he'll agree with that too.

The offers best of all is the first red sign.
Tell me to go first. Tell him you are a brand ( channel ) he can do loads of revengeful stuff but if he scams you would not be able to find him

I did told him exactly that, he just said "im not saying youre a scammer but ive just been scammed so much over the past year that i dont go first anymore."

What if I contact youtube via that form from that picture, I tell them something that I may have been hacked. Then, I would give the channel, get scammed, and youtube would reply back, as at least I would be able to send the message first (Request an email reply from a support specialist). Now I do not know if their reply will go to my original email account, or if it will be sent to the new owners email account.

If all would workout well, I'd simply ignore the reply from youtube or tell him what I did and not to panic or such.

He can do a lot of this to me, but I cannot do much things to him or for myself (get chan back), in the context of both of us would be scammers.

After all these years me asking something like this in here... when I can smell it from a mile, gave him plenty solutions that would be safe for both....where is my head lol. Prolly because the unrealistically offer, as I would estimate my chan at 2k MAXIMUM.

Anyway, this thread is closed. I did some digging and found plenty of stuff on this person, he is a very reputable scammer haha.
    Thanks guys!

Long time no see my friend :)

Escrow all the way. It sounds tempting, but he is as well so "scared" of someone scamming him, escrow wouldn't be a problem, regarding what happened in the past. Tell them you will both investigate the right way to process the money through escrow so everything will run smooth. Plus we are not in 2000 anymore.

    What channel is that? :)
