i like ericcsons idea of having different time slots for different types of music with minimal commercial interuptions
have like 40-50 mins of music per hr with talks of new threads and paid advertising from our service providers here on bhw
you could have special guest everynow and then, talk show type segments, the possibilities are endless and this could put money in everbodys pocket, bhw, the DJs and the people advertising because of how laser targeted the marketing would be
all we need is a few dedicated people to help get it started and once the balls rolling i can almost gaurantee a snowball effect
i ran my high school news station and would be able to contribute experience, time and even some resources
i will spit out some more thoughts once my internet is back up later today as its a pain to type on my phone

I love the idea. But I don't think there should be talking, just a constant stream of music.
The thing we would have to keep an eye on is people pushing their products through it. Idk if that would happen too much though, especially if DJ's volunteered and were then picked by mods (just a thought).

I like the idea, and Ericson's vision for it as well. I think it could work.
I think a little talking about SEO IM ect.. would be cool. If there is none, its kinda just another internet radio station. I think there are a lot of options with this as well.
I would be willing to be a "DJ'.....
BHW could let the people who pay to list a service pay a little extra and get a radio spot directing to their thread. Jr Vip for this idea if it's implemented??....lol
More $$$ for BHW.
To keep it honest I dont think would be a problem. Just let the DJ give one quick shout out to a domain of his choice. Takes 30 secs....

It would be ok to advertise / use advertising to some extent. For a cost that would be used for server costs, domain, design, etc.
Having an advertising loop on an hourly 15-20 seconds for me would be no problem. It would be a fun element into the already fantastic forum we have here.
We could also have contests, guest DJs, and giweaways. Example one year free hosting, domains, programs, etc.

I also like this idea. I think it would be cool to hear different music from various DJs. A little ads ok, not too much, but needs plan. I was DJ on my first college in radio station and loved it (and other radio operations through the years). Would like to do intermittent stint as DJ for this, esp if could play pink floyd and other crazy rock! Love to you guys, now my bed time, bye!
