Huh, I'm confused. How did your site get kicked in the balls? Did they re-direct links to you? or did your competitor outrank you with a re-direct? I'm confused............
My guess is they use urls as part of a double meta refresh or something or maybe cloaking who knows. I would have to see the actual page to tell you for sure. cold10.com just takes you to kloxo default page so obviously your competitor is not using this domain to try and rank it or anything.
Well, I briefly saw that they are using a 302 redirect. By rotating the destination URL they could possibly be trying to have that single link help multiple sites? But that is horrible logic and doesn't make sense.
The sites that they all jump to appear to be like linked in, universities, acestry.com. Would the fact that it is well established sites have anything to do with it?
I apologize as I have never jumped into the code...
Tried opening the URL and once it redirects Eset Blocked the URL for malware infection. Beware if opening.
WHich one and I will remove asap.. I haven't hit that yet
I tried opening this first url
http://outokumpustainlessinc.cold10.com/early-french-america-declue.php and once it redirects to someother domain from this domain, ESET Nod32 blocked the Url saying infected with Malware.
So do you think I should move this over to the cloaking section?
Those URLs make Avast go crazy, lol
might be trying to get your site taken down by malware association. i've sen this happen before where someone blasted competitors to a list of pure malware blogs/stat sites... a week later the url was associated with viruses & dropped off all serps
big question is what does this crap got to do with Outokumpu Stainless LLC
