Just for interest I have been going back through a lot of the money making threads over the past few days and was surprised to see how many knowledgeable, experience members had been banned.

I didn't see anything wrong in the threads with what they said or did. Anyone know why this seems to happen. Do members get cocky once they start earning and then try to break the rules on here? What gives?

I know competition (of mods, mod friends, etc) is banned. I think the rule is to PM a mod to see why a member was banned but gl getting a response.

Just so you know, it might not be something in the thread you were reading. More than likely the offending thread (if it was a thread) was deleted. A lot of people get the can for questioning the staff of selling without permission, either in a post, or via PM.

And if you really want to know about a specific member, say someone you were considering doing business with, PM a mod or admin for the info. They may or may not tell you but it's the only approved way to find out.

And if you're saying that people competing with a product a mod or a mod's friend, is banned for that reason, then you are completely mistaken.

I hope I didn't break the rules with my post. My apologies if I did. I was only interested in the large amount of bans, not any specific member.

No man, I noticed the same thing earlier. Is there a warning system or something? I would hate to say something wrong and get permabanned without knowing why or having the chance to make up for what I did...

The warning system is to read the rules prior to going post-crazy or trying to swing deals with people.

It's not that long of a list, and most of us wouldn't get into most of those topics anyways.

Of course...if you are in posting and feel like you might be crossing the line...you could always not post that message and save yourself the headache.
