Sorry if this topic does not look or feel good to BHatters here :p
But will someday in near future that there will be a more strigent measure on CS, illegal redirecting, .....all other BH way of marketing?
I believe authorities there are not stupids but y there still so much loopholes in this area. Just a random tot came to my mind while I am stuffing Cs :D

What has to be understood is whatever a computer does is first programmed by a HUMAN , there is always another human out there to outsmart that human, and the millions of smaller humans trying to outsmart the other humans , so Black hat is here to stay

i completely agree with antx16 and rest of people Stay step ahead + in the end computers only read 1 and 0 so everything can be cracked hacked and roundtripped :)

It will be much sooner if more and more people r doing black hat.I agree, someday there has to be law for cs, and we can be arrested for doing cs, etc..

The solution is close this forum from normal people who just enter the dark world so the numbers stop increasing day by day.

Imagine if 90% of affiliate marketers do cookie stuffing, lots of competition for blackhatters.

People who are doing blackhat will always be around. Even if a loophole in the system is covered there would be another loophole that will appear. And the cycle will keep repeating itself.

Companies are not interested in stopping BH ways immediately. Just look at PP for example: they have implemented mandatory bank account verification in US and UK (perhaps few other countires as well), only to comply with minimum law requirements. They could do it for all the other pp supported countires (now they have enough money to establish a company in each of them), however, that would ban a lot of users from using their service, which brings them hard cash. That is always a question with privacy: generally all people using Internet for legal stuff wouldn't mind being tracked and sniffed (at least I wouldn't), but we all search for free porn, movies, games, apps and stuff, so we actually like to keep our privacy for ourselves.
So, before I lose my tought in this post, the idea is that companies and law enforcements are trying to raise a bar little by little to prevent mass explotation of technology limitations, but silently allow for sophisticated shady ways to be utilized.
Just one additional quick note: 60 or more per cent spam comes from US. How long would it take for specialized police unit just to gather all evidence and to shutdown ips as well as spam advertised web shops? If you don't belive me start doing some communication in arabic and mention b*mb and DC from time to time :)

Well blackdan , if you think that will be the case, it means you have to up your level of BH knowledge, to keep that one step ahead, yes maybe CS will go away one day , but something else may turn up lets call it Turkey stuffing as we are getting near christmas:)

Blackhat will always be here.. it may not look like anything we recognize today.. but there will always be an alternative to the accepted way of doing things. Such is true in all things of life.

Even White hats get tempted by soft black hat ideas specially in social bookmarking areas. It's a no return way, when you start you can't leave it.

it's like thievery
as soon as there were laws that forbid stealing the thieves all stopped doing that ;)

Not that I say black-hat SEO can be compared to stealing (at least most of it can not^^)

Illegal? I don't think so. Remember that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If they change, so do we.

iSLaND: I don't even think it is unethical.

Black hat is not illegal, its just unethical.
It will stay till IM will stay.

One-Step-Ahead.

as if anyone who is in marketing still has got his soul :)
we all sell it sooner or later to be successful *g

well even CS would be illegal in US i think most countries wont do shit about it since if you ask someone maybe politician in here whats IM they don't know shit about it ;P and atleast in russia making CS illegal will take another 100 years lol :D

Personally I think that no system is perfect and there will always be loopholes. When the current issues get addressed by affiliate networks other new ones will come up. That is why it cant be gone. Sure it might become harder to exploit the system but individuals that are creative and resourceful will always stay one step ahead.

Nice topic. Writing that BH will die is similar to stating prostitution will follow suit. As long as there is a need and a will there will be a way. Besides my gray hat may be another's black one.

There are always some bad people that will use stupidity of others to get money :D

Anyway, if BH dies you can always go WH :D I read all the good stuff over here but I am so occupied with my WH stuff so I will have time for doing all this right about next Christmas :) Money is money, who cares how it comes :p
