As titled, im running a few projects using the the codebreaker script...

testing it out on things such as new movies,

i.e. to watch this *new movie* pls fill in a survery to watch, whilst once they fill in the email submit links, i say refresh the page to view the movie but i dont actually have the movie.

I know its unethical but is it illegal? i dont host or give the movie...

im using never blue as the cpa.. do they allow this?

I dont wanna waste my time earning lots and then losing it all :rain:

sorry if this is a newb question, pls dnt flame me...

    thanks

Well the probably dont allow it, and its unethical, but i dont think its actually illegal. If your not faking the referrer you will be banned from neverblue faster then you can read this response and change it. RUN!

To be perfectly honest.. Why dont you spend 2 seconds to go to megavideo and get the movie...

Unless its unreleased movie. Fake incentives are a bit sketchy. But generally networks dont like it all too much.

It would probably be more illegal to link or host the movie/videoyourself. :D however, it is unethical and against neverblue's rules. My advice? make sure your affiliate link referrals are masked.

just do a 'not found' or 'page has been removed do to copyright violations..'

if you're not faking your cpa referrer, you're begging to be banned regardless of what you're doing

I personally would call it illegal. It's fraud to the advertiser. We are giving them sh*t leads that they pay you for...I would say that's fraud, but what do I know.

If the offers don't say they're incentivizable, it's violating Neverblue's terms. This isn't "illegal" in the sense you'll go to jail, but it is breach of contract and if they find out they won't pay you (and could potentially sue you for payments they've already made, though in practice that almost never happens -- the likely outcome is they just ban you and don't pay you anything you're owed.)

If the offers specifcially say they're incentivizable, then it's fine.

    Yes it is illegal.

Giving shit leads is fraud, fraud is illegal, hence the connection.

However, your worst punishment would be a suspended account, unless you've raked in over $10k.

If your using incentive offers and your leads are good, a network wouldnt care right? I did that with a fake incentive and I didnt even blank ref and no complaints, my manager even recommend some incentive offers to use, I am pretty sure she noticed the ref.. I didn't care because I just thought it was cool as long as your leads werent bad... Any imput? I don't mean to hijack the thread...

and by the way it is not illegal, those who said it is are misinformed, the CPA networks is responsible for the leads they give their advertisers, your not committing fraud... TOS is not the law

For example, if your contractor gets crappy construction workers to build your house, and your paying your contractor for everything, your contractor is legally responsible. All he had to do was fire the construction workers when he saw the work was bad. Same goes for crappy leads.

Neverblue does not allow this and very few cpa networks do.

It depends on the way you use it.

I used to produce shit leads with codebreaker.
I would iframe and send the victim to those pages.

In my previous post I did not mean to say that blackhatcodebreaker only produces shit leads. My bad on that part.
