Watching Shark tank I was convinced to quit my dead end job and start my own online business ( with a little help from bhw forums as well ). Long story short, facebook has been sending me much bot traffic and I cannot figure out a way around this. I wondered why my ads were receiving many clicks but not converting any leads for such a great product. After digging into the analytics, all my traffic from ads was coming from Russia with a 99% bounce rate. Now down to my last dollars, does anyone have any suggestions for me? ( and please don't say stick to my day job. ) I have made over 70k before from selling social media services, but dealing with customer disputes from all the unstable service providers, I wanted to go with a more long term, stable approach which lead to my current business. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Are you targeting your audiences down to the location? Learn some data mining techniques.

Would you give an example of your setup?

We haven't done Russia traffic and not many of our clients as well so we can't tell you. But in general, facebook traffic is quality even if there might be some suspected bot traffic. If you're getting a 99% bounce rate, your ads might be the problem. Look at how you are pre-qualifying the person clicking.
