I don't know if it's the same person or who it is but when I did some digging, they're both relatively close on the address.

I sold this person a gaming account and the first time he sent an e-check and was rushing me to give him the details now.. I'm not that stupid. I kindly told him that I would not give details until the e-check cleared and then he wanted to cancel the e-check and send the money from his "mom's" account.

So he did, a direct deposit. Once the money was in my PayPal I gave him the account details but I did not reveal the "secret question" to my account which was a safe gateway in case he was trying to scam me and it's a good thing I did.

Not 12 hours after he sent payment and I gave him the password/username for my gaming account, he contacted Paypal saying he never sent the money. I had the company give access to the account back to me and the $710 USD he sent to my PayPal is now on hold.

Well apparently the exact same person tried to do the exact same thing my room mate when he was selling an online product. We happened to find the same scammer. Immediately after delivering the product, this person tried to contact PayPal and said that he never sent any money.

    dorothy.hayes @ ymail.com

If you ever receive payments from either of these two e-mails.. I hope you don't ship the product/good/service right away. Neither me nor my room mate lost anything because we were smart enough not to give in to him.

    World of Warcraft lol

Yeah, PayPal doesn't care if people sell their gaming accounts, the gaming companies do but PayPal doesn't. They told me it was a smart idea to keep the secret question in case that happened.

    Dude never ever ever do
Paypal never ever. Even if it is for $5, paypal is a full of bunch of idiots.
They never hear the seller's story they just refund right away.
I have had this issue for so long, that is why when i sell stuff on sitepoint I tell them few things, I dont accept paypal and you must be at least 6 months old member..

all new people are mostly scammers...

I see people complaining all the time about PayPal, but I've honestly only ever had one problem. My card they sent wouldn't work so I had to call them and sort it out.

Before I do transactions for something other than a piddly DP E-Book, I make them grab their verified link and show it to me. I should have known 100% right off the bat it'd be a scam once he didn't want to do it on PlayerAuctions, instead he wanted to do business "off the site".

Either way, I kept the secret question in that case so I didn't lose the account and the gaming company locked my account up before he could take anything. I gave them a ring and got it unlocked. It's kind of a sad world.. seriously.. when every one feels they must scam to make money.

Really smart. Scammers will try to work it, but if he does that with pp enough, it will catch up with him.

Oh ffs.. does anyone happen to know a liable good source to sell WoW accounts on?

The only people who visit this playerauctions website are a bunch of fucking pathetic scammers.. So if anyone would happen to know a good site to sell these on, much obliged since Egay doesn't allow the selling of WoW accounts on their website.

Go to the reputable sellers there. You might get a bit less but they pay.

Be careful though. Ton of scammers there too.
