So I purchased 1000 leads from Agewise almost a month ago. I received the leads and backtracked the leads to the original adds posted on CL from which the leads came from. I manually responded myself to many of the adds on CL with several different email address - I did this in order to test to see if these leads were being sent exclusively to me, as was promised by Agewise.

Well, from some of the adds on CL I got as many as 15 responses from different internet marketers who were being sent the same leads as I was, which proves he was not sending me exclusive leads.

So I confronted Agewise and he claimed he had been sold bad PVA's. He is saying that the PVA accounts he bought were also sold to many other people who are also posting with the same PVA's.

I was skeptical of his story, and started the thread below without naming any names:

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...thout-knowing-bad-pva-seller.html#post1306417

I got multiple responses saying he was full of shit and that his story was not possible. I also go PM's from other people saying they had been sold non-exclusive leads by Agewise as well. Maybe they'll chime in here too.

    Stay away from Agewise!!!

Had the same issue. Here's my story:

I bought leads from him and had the same problem. I thought he was full of it, so I just stopped working with him, but gave him the benefit of the doubt before ruining his reputation, just in case, but seeing as how others are having the same issue and he's using the same BS response at least 3 weeks after I made him aware of the issue just shows that he's not interested in fixing the issue or he's scamming people. So in either case, I have no problem calling him out.

Here's the email I sent him November 6 and his response:

    Hi,
I thought the leads I purchased were just being forwarded to me? Because I started sending out a few emails about an hour ago on ads that I saw were already flagged, so I figured there was no point in waiting. I've sent out less than a hundred emails and I've already received 5 responses saying this was clearly a scam. They've already had 3 emails in regards to that same position/ad. So someone else is receiving the same leads with the same ads and everything???

Can you let me know what's going on.

    Thanks!

    And his response:
not sure it might be the pva provider.

first off, you "are" supposed to wait 24 hours regardless.
because I noticed that the ads were being flagged more quickly,
so if you were being sincere you would have asked me first before sending them off.

when it is the correct time for you to respond, you might want to try responding with your own subject line just in case, from what you said it sounds like this will go a long way in helping you.

I'll talk with the provider and see what he has to say.

    And the second response:
well im getting more pvas from another provider for your campaign just so that this isnt an issue.

I want you to have a successful long-term campaign and I dont want anything to interfere with that.

Just make sure you dont respond to them within 24 hours even if the ad is flagged,
    its not much to ask.

Kind of like how this provider is doing something we didnt expect, whatever his reasons,
    you are not appreciating it.

In the same way, even if the ads have been flagged, I dont want them responded to until at least 24 hours so that there is enough time for them to be cooled as is common practice amonst professional marketers.

I'll be looking for another provider so that youre campaign can continue without any issues.

In the mean time, just send a response without replying to the exact email they sent,
and that should avoid any issues for you until I can find a more reliable provider.

Your conversions should remain stable if you use that strategy.

Thanks for the heads up. Almost bought 5k leads from em. I was a bit suspicious that he was turning a profit by offering such a low price for Job leads.

low price? he charges $150 for 1k leads. Dynamiteout only charges 50 bucks for 1k leads and i've used him before they were good legit leads. i've had problems reaching him lately though.

Thank you for that reminder. It seems like the scammin' is starting a little early this year with some of the other dramas here as compared to last year, or maybe I've just been out of the loop for a little bit.

I chatted a while ago (beginning of hockey season) with DynamiteOut. He was already getting to the point where he couldn't get more clients. The guy's legit an takes his business seriously.

He upped his prices. The $50 for 1k leads was just an "introductory" price while he was gaining a reputation. Or so he told me when he quoted me a higher price than $50 and I asked him about it.
