I've been claiming one payment from Amazon Associates for my commissions for around 3 months because I never received the check.

My address is Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America.

Yesterday they sent a photocopy of my check: It had been cashed in Italy, Europe, where somebody did a false signature to endorse it.

Either they sent my check to the wrong country and continent or somebody stole it.

When I gave a call to Amazon Associates support they said they couldn't do anything because the check had been already paid.

In addition Amazon sent my check to the wrong country, where somebody signed it with my name and made it cash!

Wrong country, wrong continent, wrong person: What can I do?

    Thank you

Nothing you can do. Amazon doesn't care about associates. It must be the only network that pays via checks sent by regular mail.
I suffer every month, hoping my check will actually arrive since I live in a 3rd world country and the mail system here sucks.

    clickbank checks scare me too....

I think the OP can ask them for an explanation why the check wasn't sent to his address in their records. he could ask for a copy of the address printed on the envelope

He can ask for Bill Clinton's number... but that ain't happening. He was lucky they even bothered to send him a photocopy of the check. Most of the times as an associate you are just ignored.
