I have been using this technique to build .gov and .edu backlinks via blog comments for quite a bit now and loads have been very successfully indexed, as always just copy and paste the below into your favorite search engine and replace the keyword with something thats relative to your niche and dont spam make comments contructive or get your ass whipped.

    for .edu links

site:.edu in url:blog "comment" -"you must be logged in" -"posting closed" -"comment closed" "keyword"

    for .gov links

site:.gov in url:blog "comment" -"you must be logged in" -"posting closed" -"comment closed" "keyword"

    Good Luck

i strongly disagree with -"you must be logged in"" surprise, surprise those sites are almost never moderated, register and comment for edu backlink? not a bad deal

    That is a good trick.

You can also look at links that other people created and go from there since they stick.

    Take a look at http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...730-find-domains-links-edu-gov-backlinks.html

Other way is to find a footprint and then do:

    site:.edu + footprint

    OR

    site.gov + footprint

A foot print could be like "site:.edu inurl:user/register?destination=home"

But better yet would find them with ******** links...

    Does anyone know how?

Most of the sites found using this method is "No Follow".

It's kinda hard to find a "Do follow" for .edu and .gov

    Anyone?

urlscraper.com will process a list of urls that you give it and spit out the do follow links in a separate file.

its good to have mixture of nofollow in your backlinks.
