Hello everybody. Just had a quick question.

I have 2 review sites. One that I've been updating and getting some traffic to and the other which isn't finished and isn't getting traffic.

Lets call the one getting traffic Site A, and the one that isn't, Site B.

Site A was the first review site I ever made. I made mistakes here and there and it isn't 100% how I want it to be. I am using pages instead of posts (I want to use posts for the "new" version of the site but am not sure if it's worth the time to change the current pages to posts). Site A also has a decent amound of backlinks and is ranking first in some of the targeted keywords.

Site B's domain is older than Site A and so far has been developed to the "new" version of the review site. It currently has no articles and no backlinks. It will be using posts instead of pages (easier to manage for me).

Now the question that I have is if I should stick with Site A (would need to convert pages to posts and change layout etc) or start using Site B (no backlinks) with the new layout? Is it worth my time to change Site A around and hopefully don't mess anything up or to start fresh with the new site and manage both of them?

    Thanks

If site A is ranking I wouldn't risk messing around with it even if the permalinks stay the same.

Google search a plugin call p2p converter. It converts your pages to posts or vice versa. I did a little experiment too on the seo benefits and didn't see any difference between the rankings of pages & posts.

Site A is ranking in certain keywords. Would you recommend me to start using Site B then?

I am not changing from pages to posts for SEO purposes. I just find I can manage them easier compared to pages. Posts also work with some plugins I want to use. I'll look into that plugin too. Thanks!
