I am working for a client who has a deal running on Living Social. Anyone have any experience trying to rank these deal better within their system? As they aren't able to track sales in real-time for this deal (it redirects to an outside shopping chart hosted by the client who pay commission back to Living Social at deal end date I suspect they rank via page views and click-through rates. I am think about buying traffic from Fiverr, but am unsure if their algorithm looks at traffic location in which case I need to find Canadian based traffic to inflate these numbers. Any thoughts/ideas? Lastly, for those that still think that there is no money in Living Social or Groupon type offers you are very wrong. If you have the right offer for their audience, set regular pricing with decent margins, negotiate a commission far better than their idea of 50/50, up-sell, and retarget the traffic they send your site (with the same offer directly with you) it can be a boom for local businesses.
