Thanks for the advice I'm feeling like my situation is more fitting with Flippa as well. I'm getting closer to posting the listing up as I finally got $200 to use for the business listing option. My thinking is there will be some skeptics but there will be some buyers that are really attracted to the fact that the site has revenue. I've sold other properties or accounts in the past and the ones that generated revenue sold the best.

I'm a little eager now to test the Flippa market over waiting for a while with EF because the three months of revenue can sell itself and there's no guarantee that my site stays this hot in 8 months time but my Flippa experience will tell me what direction to go as far as waiting for EF.

I would like to know though what's the best option as far as price listing should I go classified or start the bid between $20k or $40k. I've seen some sites sell with a higher bidding point. I don't want to list at $1 because I feel like it won't go past $5-10k when the final bid is in. Somebody told me before that you don't want to attract cheaper buyers but buyers with deep pockets so don't list it low if you don't want to be in that market. I want to make as much as I can off this site.

Please keep us posted. I'm in the process of launching my online store and hope to do something similar at 6 month mark.

Oh yeah for sure I will definitely keep you guys posted it's one of the reasons why I opened this thread so I could help anybody out in the future that's in my situation.

My situation should be able to tell you what you can get out of your site and how long you should hold onto it. Don't sell until you have 3 months straight of consistent revenue. I've seen some sites sell well at least $2k of revenue or more on average.

As i told you before, this is such an unrealistic number that you will never get.
I also haven't seen any site that has been sold for more money than yours that is 3 months old.. These are delusions.

30K you will never get for it and 100K you are just day dreaming there..

Let's look some current active and just ended listings

3 months old site - 350 $ Revenue Per month - Didn't even sell for 200$ - Which is ridiculous since I flip my starter sites for 400-500

    https://flippa.com/10164817-babyofficials-com

3 months old site - 2000 $ Revenue Per Month - The buy it now price is only 3800 $

    https://flippa.com/10169883-styleisconfidential-com

1 month old site - 3000 $ Revenue Per Month - The buy it now price is only 5000$ - And no bids at all.

    https://flippa.com/10172055-violetajewelry-com

4 Months old site - over 15,000 $ Revenue Per Month - Didn't even reach the asked bidding minimum of 5K and ended unsold

    https://flippa.com/10165095-ronucases-com

3 months old site - over 8,000 $ Revenue Per Month - Didn't even reach the asked bidding minimum of 5K and ended unsold

    https://flippa.com/10143758-boujeetrend-com

1 Year old site - 13,000 $ Revenue in month wheres almost 10,000 $ are Profits and asking price is 50,000 $ - Has almost no bids, it's also "Editor's Choice" as featured listing.

    https://flippa.com/10170684-ipurgatory-com

    2 Years old site - 13,000 $ Revenue in a month - 6,000 $ are Profits and asking price is 25,000 $

So there you go, while there are businesses that are sold for a lot of money.. These Flippa days are over and gone, you will never get that amount for your website.. I'm just trying to give you some advice before you end up with lots of disappointment.

If you want to get 50 K for it.. Keep it for a year on 4K a month and take your shot at EmpireFlippers... Flippa is utter trash, and to be honest.. your site is never worth that much.. Who would pay such amount? Nobody from this community that i can assure you.. So ask yourself, whats the actual reason why you dont get these numbers that you are looking to get?

Is that you dont find a dumb enough buyer or because Your site is actually not worth that much?

Other than that.. If you still move forward with this idea then make 30 days listing with 1 USD starting price and without any reserve price... Accept bids one by one so they will lift your auction on top of the Flippa page as "Most Active Auctions" - Or use shill bidding.. And when you dont get the price that you are looking for, just dont sell and that's it.. They will of course ban you.. but you can just move over to EF and sell it higher.. There will be no other losses than your listing fee.

now this is VALUABLE INFO, thanks a lot for posting this!
Besides Flippa and EF, are there no other options to sell ecommerce stores with decent revenue, 20/30k a month?

Not that I know of right now outside of eBay which I wouldn't do because of the PayPal reversals. There might be some site brokers you could hire.
