I won't go in on the bet, but I think Rashad will win. He has a wicked right hand. Did you see the fight where he laid-out Liddell? "Wiz"
Yea but Quinton has a chin made of concrete. I think it will take a lot to put him down. Rashad is a machine tho. Combined with Rampage's recent time away from the octagon it might be enough to allow him to grind out a decision. At the same time page looked good at the weigh-ins so I dunno... Tough one to call, so I'm out on this one
yea but since he laid out liddell he has been in 3 other matches and lost 2 of them, then again rampage has been out for so long like someone else said so it's kinda hard to call And NO I'm not taking the OP up on the bet
It is a tough call. Rashad has quick hands for sure and I think that could be a problem for rampage. However, rampage is a tough dude who can take a shot and is a very powerful striker that can end a fight in a hurry if he gets a clean shot it. The word on the street is that rampage trained harder for this fight than he ever has before. However, I am sure rashad did as well. The hatred between the two of them is almost palpable. Rashad called rampage an uncle tom. That crossed the line. Rashad is jealous that nobody likes him and everyone loves rampage. I think the fight could go either way, but rashad is just such a dick that I hope rampage destroys him. I hope it is a first round bashing and then I hope after he knocks him out he gets one those shots like dan henderson got against bisbing after the knockout(not the least bit dirty there either... you fight till the ref stops it whether the guy is conscious or not). So I can't take your bet either cause I want to see rampage win and I just can't root for that dickhead rashad.
This is a pretty difficult fight to predict just because both fighters haven't been in the ring in a while. I would say if the old Rampage shows up then he should take the fight, but if the slow and out of shape Rampage shows up then Rashad will run away with it.
As much as I love Rampage he has become to one dimensional of a fighter. I think he can take Rashad but just look at his fight against Forrest and you can see how one dimensional he has become. I wanna see a body slam knockout of Rashad!
I seem to remember Rampage doing this also...twice. I think Rampage has this one. He does well in his grudge matches. I think the only way Rashad will win is if he uses his wrestling and controls Rampage on the ground.
Well . . . The fight is over and I was right. Now I get to say "See? . . . I Told You So!" Okay . . . Now I am done gloating Cheers! - "Wiz"
